Useless weapons ranking : Early pre-hardmode(pre-bosses/pre meteor)

It occurs to me that some weapons just arn’t very good, but How do they compare to one another?
This is a series I will try to continue, if you want something to be added just ask.
(for simplicity ’s sake I will count anything that is almost never used and doesn’t seem very usable for one reason or another as ’useless’)

Accuracy 2/5
Accurate for zombies and skeletons, but horrible for everything else, including slimes.
Obtainability 4/5
takes less ore than their broad counterparts.
Lockdown(2/5)
No good due to their tiny range.
Dps(5/5)
Comparable to more powerful weapons, like the vilethorn.
Unreplaceability(1/5)
Dispite being unique, its All-round stats aren’t good and could be replaced by virtually every melee weapon.

Not too bad on fighter enemies, I guess.

shoots in a straight line for a relatively far distance.
Obtainability 3/5
Not too common, but not to rare either.
Ammo obtainability 5/5
You just have to break grass.
Lockdown of enemies(2/5)
Wayyy to slow to lock even one zombie down, but I guess it’s enough to kill it before it reaches your brain.

Ammo type deals low damage, also too slow.
Unreplacability(4/5)
Its Ammo is easy to get.

due to the slowness, not that great, but good enough to be used occasionally.

The range makes this slightly lackluster, though still good enough to hit flying enemies.

It’s almost literally dirt cheap.
Lockdown(4/5)
Knockback was decent as long as you can hit enemies.
DPS(2/5)
~36 damage/sec isn’t good.
Replacability(3/5)
Easily obtained and reasonably powerful, .

Surprising for this to be better than more reasonable weapons, huh.

I’d like them to be a bit bigger, but they’re good enough.

Takes more bars than their short sword counterparts.

Not perfect, but enough to get a small crowd of enemies at one place.

Not too bad.
Unreplacability(2/5)
Many swords can replace these, though they’re still the most common.

considering the main job of these weapons are to kill, not to hold back, I think this rank is appropriate.

Possibly replaceable by evil biome guns, but these can’t shoot proper piercing projectiles or be obtained as easily.

Not as common as evil biome swords, but still good enough.

Meh, it’s enough, though slightly slower than metal swords.

Meh, Cactus sword is all-round better.

Not Amazing, but better than regular and sticky grenades due to better range, and large AOE.
Obtainability(2/5)
Pinkies are actually reasonably common slime rains, and the only purpose for the existence of their special gel other than Molotov cocktails and the peach candles is this.

Though usually, only 1-2 pinkies spawn per rain, and even less once king slime was defeated, meaning only 50-200 grenades per rain.
Lockdown(5/5)
Most enemies in this stage of the game will be killed in one hit,so this stat is kind of pointless, but those who didn’t die straight away will get knocked very far away.
DPS(6/5)
Higher base damage than normal grenades+faster=crazy power.
Unreplacability (5/5)
The only explosive in the game that ignores explosive resistance of the expert eater, also very good solely
Total(A)
Not sure why people likes Molotovs over these.

What about the snowballs with the launcher?
That is actually quite powerful, dealing over 30 damage per snowball. The issue is actually obtaining the Snowball Launcher.
The Palm and Rich Mahoghany sword and bow should be in the list, as both are hardly worth using, as the ocean and the jungle typically require having to traverse an Evil biome first, so they're often available later than their ebon/shadewood counterparts, which are slightly more powerful. Another good candidate would be Throwing Knives, as they're too rare to use often while also becoming obsolete too quickly to be used much.

Sword and bow had been added as requested.
Also, Throwing knives would be downright broken to put on this post( bar-raising stats all around).
