Mine is when I tried to farm a fire feather. After six hours it finally dropped but it fell out of the bottom of hell . I haven't been to hell since.

Probably the time it took me a total of 89 in-game days - each with Travelling Merchants, not in succession - to get the Celestial Emblem.

And when it did come, I had no gold.
