    Wow, somebody actually didn't like new update, and for farily valid reasons (unlike me, who just ranting at every opportunity). Maybe it's a good opportunity to start making a mod that debloats Terraria to 1.3 era. Or isn't, because I have another things to do, like modding Barotrauma or revisioning Full Effect

    I don't know what the birthday is, but today is 12th anniversary of 1.2 update, which this can be considered the second birthday of the game

    I love 1.2 but I feel like 1.3 fills this role better since imo it was the update that completely changed the game

    1.2 is OG as hell, but 1.3 was an absolute gamechanger in every sense of the word

    Today is the tenth anniversary of the update that made me wish Re-logic had stopped development in 2012.

    See the amount of endgame content now and 10 years ago and figure out about how much devs are care about.
    The worst part is that I didn't even continue developing my mod, since finishing, or even showcasing it, in this day would be a nice gesture 😒

    But they're done with the progression chain, moon lord is the final boss.
    The incentive to add more content around or after that is very low, with most Terraria playthroughs you kill Moon Lord and then you stop playing. Wouldn't it be better to put new features at the beginning or middle of a standard playthrough than have it exist near the end where less people will care about it?

    I’m pretty sure even the devs know how bad the code is now tbh. The only reason they don’t fix it is because it would basically be like coding another game at this point.

    At least, that’s what I’ve heard from them.

    I think we should not blame them. It's reasonable why they do that.

    The only thing I want them to do is to make Phantom Phoenix, Vortex Beater, Celebration MK2 and Phantasm get benefit from speed modifiers (if you don't know, those 4 weapons don't benefit from speed modifiers, because they are held projectiles)

    I skipped the eighth anniversary of 1.3, apparently, it's 30.06.2015. Who would have thought that Moon Lord and Celestial Towers would still be the only events in the Endgame for 8 years?
