Celestial Aesthetics

I think the Celestial Event is the coolest in the game, by far. But I was a bit disappointed by the backgrounds. They are just... planets. No dramatic effects corresponding to the separate pillars or anything. So here is some suggestions for different backgrounds.

SOLAR
A giant burning sun flaring in the background, right in the center.

VORTEX
A massive sideways super-massive black hole, with huge suction effects. Anyone play Super Mario Galaxy 2? Remember the World 6 background? If not, look it up. Like that.

STARDUST
Dozens of comets and shooting stars falling diagonally.

NEBULA
A few huge galaxies at different angles.

Thank you to DarkAwesome for the awesome banner! It is perfect! If you would like a banner done, here is the link: http://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/darks-banner-creator.28108/

They do, but they are very small. For example, solar has this haze/smoke(?), vortex has lightning in the background (Resembling that of the ones created from the vortexes that occasionally spawn), stardust has, well, stars, and the Nebula pillar has pillars of light coming from the ground. They may be small, but they aren't too distracting, but are rather pleasing in my opinion.

Also, the "UMDs" also exist. I forget what they are called but they look like the little miniature pillars. Only the one to the farthest left (Or is it right?) is shown if more than one are active, and I'm not sure if it's worldwide.

So basically, all of this is already in the game... so... yah (Unless I'm somehow imagining things, but I'm 99% sure of it) :p

I do not think your first comment is relevant.
I literally have no idea what you are talking about... I would like to see proof, or I am assuming you are wrong. Not to be mean though :)

I like this idea, but I'd like them to be added alongside the existing planets (They exist on the big 1.3 wallpaper, and I already have lore for them :p). Also the UMD already exists, they're the Celestial Monoliths.

Solar already has giant meteors in the background.

The Monoliths and associated backgrounds already have tons of stuff going on. No need for more-- as cool as it could be to have galaxies in the Nebula background. :p
I said nothing about meteors in the Solar background. I humbly disagree- almost nothing is going on for what it could be.

I can vouch for his first claim - All of them have fairly noticeable aesthetic features. I took four screenshots of a good sky view of all four active pillar backgrounds.

I turned all of them to image links because spoilers break images, and they're fairly large full-size unspoiled.

I know, but I am pushing for more dramatic/fitting effects :)
