absolutly yes. the way shortswords are improved in Overhaul mod is interesting. by being able to attack at 360° they finally become much more reliable against mobile enemies. They would really give the Opportunity to get an alternative combat-style which could even be Superior to classic melee by it's precsion.

I'd love to see shortswords firing projectiles, and this even in pre-hardmode to really give shortswords a chance.

I started with a wooden sword. That's what Mobile does that to you...

I like the ideas here, would support a "point blank brawler" playstyle, as while you are forced to get up close, you do TONS of damage.
