If you go from Master difficulty to Journey difficulty *right* as the Moon Lord spawns, then the eyeballs spawn with Journey HP (roughly 10k HP), but the Core spawns with Master Mode HP (96,625 HP). The health bar when he first spawns also looks very odd, until you deal any amount of damage to him. This picture shows what his health bar looked like a few seconds after he spawned in, when I had done 0 damage to him. The Stardust Armor is vanity, the set bonus was not in effect.

Strange, could be happening because the health lowers as you change modes, but the MM health bar is still there.

Re-Logic
Changing difficulty modes mid-boss fight has some unusual/inconsistent behaviors at times. Enemies determine their HP at the time of spawning, and don't really update with difficulty changes via Journey settings. Doing this specifically for a multi-segmented enemy is going to result in some inconsistencies.
