**REPORTED** Movement breaking unless I hold space and move in a direction

Had this issue where I couldn't open the menu, move, unless I held a direction and held space too. Was solved with a complete restart of my computer, but others say it happened to the them.
Keyboard functions everywhere else, just not ingame.

happens to me too ever since the update. also restarting doesn't always work and when it does it is only limited time.
 
Hi,
This is a known issue, with a fix being worked on.
For now, the workaround seems to be:
- Uninstall Terraria
- Restart your PC
- Reinstall Terraria
This will not effect your save data.
