I almost see no point in this getting updated. Once another update for terraria comes, they'll care more for the up to date, standalone mods. (Unless someone else continues tAPI)

I guess that after TModLoader gets properly released, he may start updating and configure the mods for that.

-Sigh-

I wish one of the modding systems would get finished so stuff like this could come back. I miss my trusty omni-wrench, not to mention my wireless warp network with it's big radio towers, relay stations, and masses of complicated wiring. I mean, Neo even added a special mode to the omni-wrench for me so I could lay all three wire colors simultaneously, which made running high density signal lines to my radio towers SO much easier.

-sniff, sniffle-

WAAH, I WANT MY COOL STUFF BACK!!

...

Sorry, that may have been a little silly. I do hope this mess gets fixed though, and I hope Neo is doing okay, I enjoyed talking to him and offering what little playtesting and suggestions I could to help out.

Here are a few mods I've written for tAPI. Hopefully you'll find them either enjoyable to play, or interesting to look at code wise.

  • Grox The Great, for providing the Template Mod.
  • Shockah, for providing some amazing mods which were great places to pick up on ideas for ways to implement things.
  • Everyone involved with creating tAPI!

Description:
Allows additional tiles to be placed facing left and right.

To do:

Bugs / Quirks:
  • If the mod is disabled or removed, any tiles that were placed facing the direction that isn't found in vanilla Terraria, will show up as either solid pink blocks, completely transparent, or as random artifacts. Things appear as normal again if the mod is re-enabled. Or you can use the uninstaller to return all tiles to the direction they normally face.
  • The uninstaller only needs to be run once per world, then can be disabled. It searches through every tile in the current world looking for any tiles with frames outside the boundaries of the default texture, and resets the frameX and frameY properties.
