Basically I tried to make Sora a one to one port of the design
while for Lian and Chloe I was more loose with it
Edit: I need someone to post here so I can show some stuff again ;~ ;
Edit2: I'll just edit the stuff in.
I added a new thing to my main description template. Expect to see the soul color of new characters I make more often, and I added it to various older descriptions too.
Additionally... I made a new description (Livis) and reworked a very old one (Jacky). Includes designs too.

Name: Livis
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
Personality: Incredibly quiet; always speaks with a very low volume, if he speaks at all. He is always honest about his feelings, though.
Equipment: A bow (Main weapon), the small sword on his right [our left] arm (Only really used defensively), and the sash around his waist (slightly reduces damage taken from all attacks).
Abilities: Can summon stars to attack and music notes to heal others (the latter of these abilities is pretty weak though). Can charge up his jumps to increase the height gained from them.
Strengths: Very agile, and knows how to take advantage of the area in battle.
Weaknesses: He lacks defensive capabilities, struggles a lot at close range, and won't lie to spare someone else's feelings.
Known Backstory (Optional):

Don’t beat yourself up too much! I suck at world building, too. Let’s see… Bright’s backstory was made up as I went; Divine Lakes is a mess with no plotline of itself, only characters; DOUBLE TROUBLE is kind of just Maze Runner with sort of generic additions; and Olace doesn’t have all too many details yet. I don’t have a single world I’ve ever made that goes beyond one concept.*Quietly yoinks an old quote so I can start on a text wall*
Also can I show Lian and Chloe here real quick...?

I'm quoting this one as it also plays a role here. However, my current main situation involves my struggles with worldbuilding.
(For the quote it's mostly involving the personalities; I've been feeling better about my character designs and a lot of the old ones have been improved as well to stand out more.)
(Also, Neo got development since that post. The others are still waiting on that treatment, though.)
I often feel really bad about my lack of proper worldbuilding when I see some of the descriptions you guys post character descriptions that are absolutely huge and come with a free lore dump as well. I try to worldbuild but I find it hard to focus on it for long, especially when it comes to culture and similar things. Same with world maps, I would make them but I don't know where to start most of the time. My old map for Floralis will need to be fully redone at some point, and other high-priority maps are the ones for Alghan and the Fading Kingdom, as those will be needed when I make the Hopeful World games, and possibly one for Malvine so I have a reference for the animated series. (Malvine isn't as important because if needed I could just generate a large world with the right mods (...after backporting Floralis Mod to 1.3 for the reason of "old calamity needed", that's gonna be a fun project /s) and use that as a reference point)
The closest I have for culture things are the tradition Arcana have (befriending wisps when they turn 10), Nature Guardians, and a single tradition in a single village in Floralis. That's it right now for actual culture, at least from memory. You guys seem to have so much more than I do, and that just makes me feel bad for some reason.
I'm much better with magic systems, but even there I've been struggling to develop some. I've kept most of my recent focus on Floralis and Abronia, while the rest need development too. The only one I can really call finished right now is Antel's system, and that's because it's a simple system with a lot of freedom built into it. Even then, I still feel I could develop the system more at a later point... once I have motivation to go anywhere near Antel again, that is.
Some of you also have entire organizations worked out and then I'm here with Golden Echo being reasonably fleshed out, Sorrow, [unnamed] and Voidsky just kind of... existing, the PMO being between "reasonably developed" and "...existing", Embers barely mattering to any lore except Aran's past, and if we can even consider it one, Duskfall being pretty developed. (Duskfall is not really an "organization" in my eyes though. It's literally four characters.) And also Team Nebula but they aren't important yet. (And I'm not really willing to count the Lifelight Guild at the moment.)
In short, it all just kind of piles up and makes me feel bad about not being very good at important worldbuilding things. Really, the most developed world in general is starting to become Abronia at this point; a world I made for a Terraria run while suffering from German Internet Connection (which was pain), and which my ADHD decided needed lore. You have no idea how embarrassing it is to have to say a world intended to be minor is starting to take the title of "most developed" from the world that has been in development for an entire DECADE. It does not help my mood in any way.
And me being about to spend 30 euros catching up in Sky (and possibly another 12 to 18 next month because I really don't want to miss this season) certainly isn't helping me feel better either.
Character-wise? At least you can come up with some! It’s a struggle for me to get kickstarted on anything, including things like OC creations and drawings. So, in summary, not being perfect is normal. Some people are just better at different things, and yours might be something else other than world building!

Thanks... it just kind of sucks to have underdeveloped worlds in my opinion, especially the ones I've had for years.Don’t beat yourself up too much! I suck at world building, too. Anyway, if you didn't see yet, I made Livis (blue soul fallen human).

I know I missed a couple days of backreading, but 74 pages behind on Limbo?? I've got a lot of catching up to do...
I wonder how I'm going to explain Stygian's absence.
I may at some point decide to just give in and ask for a summary, but for now I'll try skimming it.

I feel like i have ðe opposite problems wiþ my worldbuilding. Biology and cosmology and metallurgy and cultures are fun and come fairly easily to me, but i have a lot of trouble wiþ magic because i tend to þink of þings in scientific, analytical terms and ðat just doesn't work wiþ any magic ðat feels magical. And i have no idea how to write characters, which is why i only have about 2, and even ðen ðey're just collections of notable þings ðose people have done. Magic i could take or leave, but characters are essential to any story, more ðan inventing a setting or background lore (see any fiction set in ðe real world).*Quietly yoinks an old quote so I can start on a text wall*

I guess my point here is ðat you're not alone in feeling like you're bad at important worldbuilding. It's a lot to build an interesting world and populate it wiþ interesting characters.
