Diver, Been farming mudmen for 2 hours now. No drop... XD

I'll throw out a quick fix-update in a sec here. It'll increased the drop for the item significantly, so don't worry too much.

Mod npc's aren't spawning even though I'm holding the items. Anyone have this problem? Defeated all the mechanical bosses, new items work but no new npc's..

I don't know what to tell you buddy. No one else gets as many randomly changing issues as you do. I'm assuming you're doing three things are happening. 1. You aren't being patient in your search for the ores. Magma ore is pretty much impossible to miss if you're looking for it, but thorium can take a moment. 2. You keep unloading thorium, loading your world, breaking the tiles, then reload it. This would remove all thorium mod tiles from that given world. 3. You somehow have some conflicting mods activated. Least likely if you ask me, but it might be possible...

Read the tooltip, champ. You'll need to use some method of gaining an extra minion slot, aka, summoning potion, summoning table or an accessory.

i was exploring with 30 spelunker potions and 30 shine... i know where are magma ores but i dont have all mod ores they just dont generate

I imagine it might be a couple problems. Make sure you have the items outside of your hotbar slots and in your basic inventory. I'm not 100% that the hotbar counts as the inventory in my coding. It could be that the vanilla npc's are taking priority over the others and it could also be that you aren't being patient enough, but I doubt that. But just to recap, make sure you have like, 2 shark fins, 2 antlion mandibles, the blood moon medallion and the empty seed bag in your inventory to make sure none of the item requiring NPC's are spawning. If you could give me a pic of your inventory as well, that would be amazing.

These are not all of the items but we've been holding them for a long time... All the other mod stuff works. I made a bigger house too just in case you coded the housing differently. No luck.. Thanks for replying!

Not sure if this will work, but try un-favoriting the blood moon charm and putting in in the inventory slot next to the net. Get back to me if a day goes by and stiiiill no luck.

Okay, we'll try that. Doubt it'll help cause I remembered that we could favourite items 8+ hours into the game. I'll post back tomorrow.

all this confusion is odd, because ive been playing thorium fine, the only stuff that i noticed were a couple of items that were a littl unbalanced, and im using 7-8 different mods aswell, yet ive had pretty much no problems (i also downloaded all of them off the mod browser).

Confused zombie just spawned for my friend in single player mode. I think the NPC's don't spawn in multiplayer..

You were on Multiplayer??? Shoooot, I didn't know that man. I'm sorry, but yeah, npc spawning in multiplayer is really wonky. I think everyone on the server has to hold the items...

Don't quit because you cant get those 2 ores. there is obvisously something wrong on your end. Either spawn a new world and only use it for the ore gen. Is your tmodloader up to date? is the mod you are using up to date? Just so you know Magma/Thorium ore are only going to be spawning right around once you hit the layer where lava pools spawn. If your not going down far enough keep going. Magma ore when it spawns is literally like 70-200 bloack above hell and it is ALL OVER THE PLACE you can mine 10 blocks withought hitting a vien of it.

Just a suggestion that I think would be cool is to add lightning/electricity items to the elemental stuff.
Or something else similar, I just think there's a severe lack of zapping things XD

@DivermanSam @Brutallama Shouldn't there be a Topaz Gauntlet for throwing damage and one for summoning damage?
