Casual Unpopular Opinion Thread

To be fair, that's true. However Flowers in real life normally cannot break someone's fall, and the proper thing that should have broke the fall would be something like a parachute (which even then, isn't perfect all on its own).

(Yes I said "In real life" and this is a video game, but please I want to continue having fun with ideas like this).

Don't you hear that drinking alcohol is bad for the body, especially for the young ones?
I believe more in that they forgot to take pills and had delusions.
I believe it actually started in a thread about unpopular opinions but it slowly shifted over to color debates and they just imagined the whole underground thing - the thread was too immersive

Minecraft is just 3D terraria but with less content

This doesn’t apply to terraria fans
Technically Minecraft and Terraria are two different games of the same survival sandbox genre,
Though I can agree that Terraria has far more content and better updates overall (Minecraft will always hold a place in my heart as a childhood game.. but Terraria is simply better as a game otherwise).
Reddit is trashy and has a terrible community
Agreed, I even left that site for that very reason.

New Unpopular opinion: I do not like the word "Shipping". I get it it's supposed to be short for relationshipping, but I honestly prefer the term "Pair" or "Pairing", and not every single character needs to be romantically paired with someone else.

Terraria has far more content, but I somehow personally like Minecraft more cuz it is not limited to 2D and it might be more fun

This sure is a hot take.
lol 1.15 sucked. having a whole update around BEES is not a good use of an update. and don't get me started on 1.12. a whole update on color. imagine terraria 1.4.5 was just adding random building blocks that we didn't really need, instead of a good update to revitalize the community after a couple of really bad updates (1.10, 1.11)

Those are some of my favorite updates, what do you think qualifies as a bad update? Personally I thought the ocean update and nether update weren't great.

a bad update is an update where mojang (or any company, but I used mojang as a example) sees what the community wants, and actively ignores them. 1.12 was essentially a wasted update, 1.11 added polar bears, and 1.10 added a somewhat useless structure to the game. and 1.15? added bees, and the most useless features known to man.

Eh, redstone users will gladly argue with you.
Thing is, with such a large community one of the best ways to do something like that is to just kinda throw random things out there, because there are so many suggestions it's practically impossible to add them all. (We can see the same here >w> )
