One thing I find fairly lacking in the game is the point of playing any other classes except melee in the endgame, this suggestion will hopefully present a weapon that can rival the zenith
first of all, to craft it you would need one of the following:
Wooden Bow
Flare Gun
Harpoon
Daedalus Stormbow
Phantasm
Stake Launcher
Onyx Blaster
Super Star Shooter
MegaShark
Xenopopper
S.D.M.G
Celebration MK2
This variety of different ranged weapons ties into my next idea regarding this weapon: Ammo Cycling
Ammo cycling would make this weapon change what ammo it will fire every time it releases a round following this sort of pattern:
Bullet -> Arrow (Stakes count) -> Rocket -> Star -> (and even more ammo types?)
if an ammo type is missing from the player's inventory (or perhaps disabled) it is skipped
in regards to the way to stop this weapon from consuming everything in your inventory, I also suggest it be given a right-click menu much like the grand design, where different ammo types can be enabled/disabled
The fire rate should be the same as the S.D.M.G (Use time of 5)
The base damage would be roughly 95
A 75% chance of not consuming ammo
Critical Strike chance of 15%
No idea what knockback should be, prob close to S.D.M.G
