but with the right setup terraprisma can do 200+dmg, more than sdmg, so terraprisma would be summon zenith

Better name: Meridian.
Meridian means End, just like Zenith, and it just kinda gives a mystical vibe, which fits in with Summoner.

Not to mention the Zenith doesn’t have every melee weapon, just the important ones.
It could be Finch Staff, Flinx Staff, Imp Staff, Blade Staff, Pygmy Staff, Raven/xeno staff, and Terraprisma.

I think it'd be neat if instead of spawning some weird conglomeration of minions, it spawned the 8 different minions while only taking up one minion slot, like the optic staff.

I believe he means one of each summon. But that probably will be weakened since some of them inflict invincibility frames onto the enemy, making most attacks miss
