    I’m making a terraria mod where all fish attack you when fished up, but fishing is much faster and more rewarding. I’m wondering how finished the mod should be before I release the first playable version, so I made a poll.

    It's out everyone! I finally finished the Derplore Bestiary resource pack! I started working on this in april 2021 so I hope it was worth the wait. Go ahead and click the image if you're interested in downloading it, it'll take you to its steam workshop page.

    I would say make a thread! Not everyone checks profile posts and this might get buried by others.
    I sadly don't plan on using this pack (though your lore does interest me), mainly because I'm worried it'll interfere with other packs I have (not counting Googlerraria here, that one's obvious), and for a few personal reasons.

    As long as you have it lower in the list than your other resource packs, it shouldn't take priority over them and should leave your other packs alone, though I understand if there's other reasons why.

    The main reason I said the Pillars are the worst is because of my first attempts at trying to beat the Moon Lord.
    What happened is that I couldn't beat the Moon Lord because I suck at Terraria, and the amount of times I tried to beat him resulted in me fighting the Pillars several times. Every time I tried the Pillars made me hate them more, and now they're my least favorite event.

    Probably Moon Lord, if only by virtue of him being the final boss. It’s supposed to be the final challenge to cap off the game, something to stay with you after you’ve moved on. By virtue of it being the final boss, it SHOULD have gotten an insane amount of playtesting and quality control to make sure that the experience that sticks is at least an enjoyable one.

    But for Moon Lord that isn't the case. Moon Lord is so awful and the experience so painful that I actively have to scrub it from my mind every time I try to think about the game.

    Terraria guns bore me. Bows and rocket launchers are where it’s at.

    Unless you play magic or summoner in which case everything except cool whip is great, or melee which consists of generic rotating sprites and less cool versions of gimmicks other classes already have

    How do you justify the fact that some man with some sport from the real world has somehow created a successful pastime in this world filled with monsters.
