Hello Terrarians!

The Re-Logic dev team has been hard at work on 1.3.6 this week. There is some pretty exciting stuff, so we thought we'd start your weekend off right with a look at one of the many new backgrounds coming to Terraria in 1.3.6 :)

Happy weekend Terrarians!

It is spoiler time! The Corruption has always been my favorite, so I can't wait for 1.3.6!

Greetings, Terrarians!

As you may have seen from Cenx' tweet this week, we have been playtesting the upcoming Console 1.3 update within our team in order to help make this rewrite/update the very best that it can be. (If you missed the image of the team playing, check it out below). We are having a great time and generating tons of feedback for the Pipeworks team.

Clearly, a ton of progress has been made - pretty much everything has been added, etc., though quite a good amount of work remains in squashing bugs, optimizing performance, and addressing the list of feedback that we are giving Pipeworks as a part of our playtesting.

The good part of this is that the game/update will be all the more polished and awesome as a result of this extra work.

The downside is that the team is going to need more time than expected to pull it all together. How long isn't quite clear yet - but both teams feel pretty sure that we are looking at a delay into Q3 in order to do what needs doing. Obviously, that isn't ideal for anyone, but it is what is needed to hit our "quality first" philosophy and to make this update hit its potential.

Hopefully, the delay will not be too long at all, but we wanted to go ahead and fill you guys in on the situation as soon as we knew ourselves.

Thanks for understanding and your support - we will answer any questions that we can of course.
Happy Friday Terrarians! :)

Start your weekend off with a look at a 1.3.6 spoiler ;)

Hello Terrarians!
The dev team has been hard at work! We are excited to introduce new and improved language support/translations, 4K support, UI scale and zoom options, new furniture, a couple of armor sets, and more! This update represents one part of the team's vision for what we have called 1.3.5 to this point, and is focused on polishing and fixing up some issues that have needed addressing as well as bringing some long-requested features to the game. Admittedly, it is a bit light on "more content", however, we wanted to go ahead and get these ready-to-go features out to players now rather than making everyone wait until all of the other stuff is completed.

The other part of this update will be focused on a list of things that the team feels needs a fresh look (rebalancing/tweaking/polishing) as well as some areas that we feel were overlooked or forgotten when we were working on the past several updates. This will provide a solid foundation from which we can execute our other secret Terraria update plans - and we are pretty sure you will find those exciting! ;)

For now, enjoy these handful of goodies (especially our non-English speaking fans), look forward to a second round to come... and towards even bigger things down the road.

Check the full changelog below for details and a complete list of additions, changes, and fixes.

Hello Terrarians!

Yesterday, we confirmed that Terraria will be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2017. We are very excited to open up Terraria to new users and to be part of the great group of 'Nindies' coming to Nintendo Switch! We've received a lot of questions, and can confirm that, at launch Terraria for Switch will be at least version 1.3. We'll share more details later down the road, but couldn't wait to let everyone know, Terraria will be on Switch!

Our friends at Pipeworks Studio are still hard at work on 1.3 for console and mobile. And, we are still on track to launch 1.3 on PS4 and Xbox One during Q2 this year :) To further get you excited about Terraria on Switch - and for the big updates coming to PS4/XB1 and Mobile later this year, we thought we would give you a sneak peek at our new in-progress Console box art revamp, hand drawn by Re-Logic's very own @Crowno!

As always, THANKS for your support! We're looking forward to some great things, so stay tuned :)
Greetings!

Today, we officially launch Pixel Privateers! You can obtain a copy now on Steam at $14.99! We've had an incredible time working with Quadro Delta over the past couple years and are excited to see this game launch into the world! The best part? Even though this is a 1.0 release there will be updates! Check out the trailer and official announcement from Quadro Delta below!

This landmark occasion marks the fulfillment of more than 2 years of development work by our small team at Quadro Delta, and we are incredibly excited and proud to bring the game to you in a full 1.0 release. Over the coming days and weeks, we will be eagerly listening to your feedback and suggestions in order to best prepare the game’s first patches/updates. Of course, fixing bugs will be our highest priority for the immediate future.

While the launch is certainly a milestone, it is far from the end of development. Future patches will expand content and features, as well as the usual bug fixes - while incorporating user feedback and suggestions. We look forward to supporting Pixel Privateers for a long time to come!

How can you give that feedback and/or report bugs? Glad you asked!

  • Since the game is launching straight to 1.0, we want to encourage everyone to report any issues or bugs to us via our support ticket system, JIRA.
  • Alternatively, you can report to us via the Steam forums or our official forums.
  • If you prefer to try to catch us in real time, our community team is ready and willing to help on our Discord...
