I thought of spooky armor.
Then I remembered that isn't even the best summoner armor.

So I thought of this.
Pine wood armor
Crafted with pine wood
Same drop chance as spooky wood and drops from everscream.
1000 Wood required for the whole set.
36 defence total
Pine wood Helmet
12 Defence
+ 3 minions
+ 12% minion damage

Pine wood Chestplate
12 Defence
+ 4 minions
+ 12% minion damage

Pine wood leggings
12 Defence
+ 16% minion damage

Bro please, those stats are way stronger than Spooky. WAY.
Of course, that's all everyone's gonna see, and you're gonna get hate for it. But I like the concept, although I think rangers or something could use a Frost Moon armor set - or better yet, just let the four we have now be the top sets.
I think Frost Moon might be a good all-purpose, master-of-none armor - maybe focusing on life regen or something.

I agree completely, that many minions is too much as it is. Look at the difference between spooky armor and tiki armor, spooky is obtained later but it sacrifices one minion for a lot more damage. I don't see anything balancing this with the closest tier of armors.

So, we're talking:
  • +45 defense
  • +40% summon damage
  • +7 minions
The defense stat is ridiculous. And the Frost Moon isn't too much harder than Pumpkin.
 
Spooky armor with no other damage bonuses and maxium minions possible (through accessories and such) does around 1200% of the damage stated on a summoner weapon (from all minions in a combined attack). This armor would raise this number close to 2500% (if I did the math right). Also 45 defense is extremly over powered.

Lower it to plus 4 minions and +30 defense. Then it may be balenced.

Personally I don't think it should be another wood based armor, but whatever.
