Other New idea for the Ultimate Accessories and Armor for endgame!

• I’ve had times where I wanted to wear an extra accessory or wanted my Wings but didn’t have room for the Soaring Insignia. Have you had these problems as you try to create the perfect loadout?
Why choose when you could combine accessories; for example, all the Emblems (Warrior, Ranger, etc.) into the “Terra-Emblem”. Have the Soaring Insignia be a consumable once shimmered into “Birthright of The Skies”, have all expert boss drops (Shield, Brain of Confusion, Worm Scarf, etc.) be merged into an item called
“The Amalgamation”.
* I’d love to see if there’s a way to craft all accessories so you can have them all, it’d have to be endgame to do so though.
• Besides The Wall of Flesh dropping a Demon Heart; have Plantera drop an Elder Druids Heart, Betsy a Flame Dragon Heart, and The Moon Lord an Eldritch Heart.
*This will help players get more slots but they are like the Demon Heart in the process of acquisition,
you’ll need to be in a Expert or Master world.
• MOLES!!! Why haven’t I seen a little mole digging around popping out onto the surface every once in a while, this would be a great addition. Imagine seeing a 1 by 2 hole that’s moving, the blocks being dug are replaced behind the little blind guy as he tunnels on.
• Gondolas would be pretty cool or something like that. Like if you could place rails on the underside of blocks and have a suspended cable car able to travel underneath blocks and above a chasm.
• “Animal/NPC Balloons” Low-Gravity tranquilizer darts, you shoot any living thing (squirrel, bunny, worm, slimes, NPC’s, zombies, bosses, etc.) and their ability to move is temporarily restricted and they start floating around balloon-like (lasts 30 seconds). To craft them you’ll need an Low-Gravity potion (New) and darts, the Low-Gravity potion “Makes you feel like you’re on the moon!”
• New Material - Eldritch Tear(s)
Dropped from Moon Lord (x1 per kill)
Used in Low-Gravity potion, Eldritch Heart, The Amalgamation, Terra-Emblem, and all endgame accessory combinations.
• If you shimmer an Eldritch Tear; you will get a permanent buff item called the “Essence of Eldritch”, all Ghosts, Wraiths, zombies, floating eyes, living armor, goblin invaders , pirate invaders, normal mimics, any enemies that aren’t bosses or boss minions will not do damage anymore and will instead try to flee. Can be turned on/off, NPC’s give you a 75%-90% discount too. “The town folk know not why they tremble in your presence, the once formidable monsters now cower and flee as the scent of the fallen overlord looms over you”
• Eldritch Lord Armor
Head piece - 5 Eldritch Tears, 18 Luminite bars
Chest/Torso piece - 8 Eldritch Tears, 24 Luminite bars
Boots - 4 Eldritch Tears, 12 Luminite bars
  • +20% critical hit chance
  • +20% damage
  • +20% attack speed
  • +20% movement speed
  • When another armor set is in the vanity slot, this armor will mirror the set effects.
  • Reduced damage by 50%
  • Mining and building reach +100%
• Moon Lords Core
12 Eldritch Tears, 30 Luminite Bars.
-Permanent buff
  • Adds an extra +500 Health.
(Note that each Moon Lord kill is x1 Eldritch Tear, and this is mostly for endgame.)

I’m sure there’s a few things in here that I think anyone would like to see in Terraria, thank you for reading it and hope you enjoyed my ideas!

I like the addition of moles to the game, but I'm worried that the Terrarians will want to...eat him.
I also really like the idea of "flight darts", if they only work on weak mobs. However, I think it would be wise to give the " balloon effect " a limited duration.

Hate is a strong word.

I hate ultimate stuff. It streamlines all progression and makes all before it useless. Post-game you can sort of get away with it, sure, but all else before is terrible. Even post-game is iffy.

• I’ve had times where I wanted to wear an extra accessory or wanted my Wings but didn’t have room for the Soaring Insignia. Have you had these problems as you try to create the perfect loadout?
No loadout should be perfect. Experimentation is way more important than "here's the best thanks"
Why choose when you could combine accessories; for example, all the Emblems (Warrior, Ranger, etc.) into the “Terra-Emblem”.
Avenger emblem exists

WAY too good. Worm Scarf/Brain of Confusion + Shield of Cthulhu is broken as is, let alone everything.

Elaborate; I'm confused as to what you mean

Accessories have a limit to force you to pick ones you like. Besides, why would Betsy get anything like this? It's an optional boss.

These are off-topic, but cool

Messing with enemy AI is too risky. It'd be a lot of effort to code as well.

Way too grindy (that's like 30+ ML kills,) way too good, Accessory combos don't add other materials, and endgame already streamlines progression too much. Also, what's with the reduced damage and vanity stuff? That's unintuitive and goes against the point of vanity as a whole.
I’m sure there’s a few things in here that I think anyone would like to see in Terraria, thank you for reading it and hope you enjoyed my ideas!
If you need elaborations on my points, please let me know.

No loadout should be perfect. Experimentation is way more important than "here's the best thanks"
I totally agree. If you want to lean into one stat, you gotta sacrifice others. You can't really just make a "perfect" load out with every stat being good (although it would be nice). You want damage, you sacrifice defense and mobility ,and so on.

if oy

if you do, you'd just be like Rope

that's what rope does. he literally always runs "night's edge-excalibur-terrablade" when he plays
oh okay

yeah he will throw a tantrum if he isn't allowed to use the absolute best

Exactly I like the idea of ultimate accessories they just ruin the idea of stat building

This is post ML. This still shouldn't be added, but it would technically be Post-ML so all balance is gone.

I completley disagree. It's always fun to have one ultimate goal you're able to get, which usually has the player experiencing a lot of the game. I do kind of agree that it makes everything before it useless, but the only real example I can think of is Terra Blade, and even then there's still some decent melee weapons to use (Starlight, Flying Dragon).
These are off-topic, but cool
I don't like the mole one- if it destroys blocks it would grief worlds.
Accessories have a limit to force you to pick ones you like. Besides, why would Betsy get anything like this? It's an optional boss.
Maybe it could be something else rather than an accessory. The only one that should be added is the Plantera one though.
Accessory combos don't add other materials
Then they should! It really doesn't deviate from the base game much.

I agree with anything else I didn't mention.

Ngl agreed it is post ml so what balance

There's nothing wrong with that at all. That's just how he plays, and we shouldn't be hating on him for that. It's a bit ironic how the people who say "terraria isnt about optimization" and "we can play in our own way" make fun of people when they don't play your way lol.

That doesn't mean everything the game has worked on is thrown away once you beat it.

What? Making it so most optimized runs have the same weapon eternally used unless you are going absolutely crazy risky.

Didn't notice that... yeah no

How? Not a single one does and it makes sense. Why would a + b + c = a + b?

WAY too good. Worm Scarf/Brain of Confusion + Shield of Cthulhu is broken as is, let alone everything.
It would have to be a major grind and not just the Moon Lord, you’d need tons of souls from each mech boss and many other materials to craft it. Same goes for most of the things I posted, you will need to grind an understandably massive amount to even attempt creating a combination of this scale.

Elaborate; I'm confused as to what you mean
Let say you don’t have an item needed to craft the ankh shield and you have extra of others; instead of just shimmering them, why not let the goblin tinker trade you for what you need at a price though in early stages.

That doesn't mean everything the game has worked on is thrown away once you beat it.
Won't it make all those expert accessories more useful. Also if it's post-ML, of course it makes sense that's it outclasses other stuff. That's literally the Zenith.
What? Making it so most optimized runs have the same weapon eternally used unless you are going absolutely crazy risky.
You don't really have to use the most optimized thing every playthrough. If you're bored - try something new!

uh idk

Though it is optional, have you ever beat Betsy on Master mode? I’m also thinking that it would only drop if there’s no damage to the crystal and beat Betsy within a certain amount of time.

That is way too difficult
