You have to download and install tModLoader first.

Link: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/1-3-tmodloader-a-modding-api.23726/

Once that's installed, you should see a 'Mod Browser' button on Terraria's main menu. It has a search function, and that's where you can download and install all your mods.

So... hp above 2k activates the anti-cheat on yharon... well, looks like I'll have to cut another mod from my list. Iirc legends of terraria provided a legit way to raise health all the way to 9999 by grinding mobs for items that would give a permanent +2 hp. Very rare item and need 4750 (4749.5 to be exact) to do it. Author said he didn't expect anyone to ever achieve max hp, I looked forward to the challenge of doing it and it was the only reason I installed it. Rather have this mod than it.

Finished the final animations, tada

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
Q - When will the next update come out?
A - It'll be ready when it's ready, we all have lives outside of modding so expect slow periods with lack of updates here and there.

Q - Will there be more vanity items?
A-Yes, but vanity and construction items are a late priority as of now.

Q - I have so and so complaint about a bug or balance issue in the mod.
A - While appreciated, please make sure the problem hasn't been addressed before, the forum has search functions after all.

Q - Can I make a suggestion?
A - Feel free to! As long as it's not any form of a demand any input is welcome and appreciated, it lets us know you enjoy what's there and what you want to see more of!

Q - (Insert subject here) doesn't work in multiplayer!
A - The mod, so far, hasn't been built with multiplayer in mind, so bugs are certain to happen here and there; though fixes have been considered, and the glitches aren't too common.

Q - (Insert other mod here's item) breaks this mod, please buff this!
A - We have no real control over how other mods work, as accounting the vanilla-terraria items is already hard enough, the mod is only balanced around itself.

Q - Will there be any events or village NPCs?
A - There are two events planned and in development as of now, and concepts for villagers have been considered several times, expect to see some in the future.

Q - What more bosses will there be?
A - Refer to the boss progression section to see any of the modded bosses in development.

Remember, the mod is still growing, so many things are subject to revision.

Known bugs:

Worm knockback in mutltiplayer is odd.

Lore of the previous owner of this armor, Statis: Statis was born and abandoned by his parents, due to the fact they already had 12 children and couldn't afford to take care of another one. When he was just a baby, Statis was discovered by some more intelligent slimes and raised to be the ambassador between the slimes and the Terrarians. He was also trained in summoning and ninjitsu just in case the whole "Diplomacy" thing didn't work out. At just the age of 11 he had learned to move faster than a giant worm, and to sway the minds of lesser creatures, convincing them to fight for him. Statis was instrumental in stopping wars between Terrarians and slimes, and even saved the Slime God (at the time King Slime)'s life by defusing a bomb that an angry Terrarian had placed to assassinate the King. He did this all at the age of 15. Statis was honored by slime and Terrarian alike for his deeds and skills, and award after award was placed on his shoulders. Everything seemed fine, at least, until the Jungle Tyrant Yharim corrupted the mind of the Prince slime and made him overthrow his father. Statis was confused and outraged, as the prince had never showed even an ounce of jealousy towards his father's reign. When Statis confronted the new King, the former Prince stated that all slimes will now follow Yharim, and that his father was a weak leader. Statis knew the Prince, and he knew this wasn't him. Still, the new King threw Statis out of the kingdom for "Treason" and not following Yharim. Statis's loyal companions, which included many baby slimes, followed him out of their kingdom to help him search for this Mysterious Yharim person. Along the way, Statis tripped and fell far down an evil chasm. Here, a hoard of ebonian and crimulan slimes confronted him. Statis thought fast, and talked the slimes into helping him find Yharim, by bribing them with lots of things to kill. The slimes agreed, and helped him out of the chasm. One night, he heard from the gods that Yharim planned to take over the cosmos, with an army of god-like warriors at his side. The gods blessed him with superhuman abilities, and unrivaled power over his minions. They gave him demigodhood. When he woke up, he knew what he had to do. He had to find help to take on Yharim, and he had to find it fast.

Origin of the previous owner of this armor, Braelor: Braelor, Demi-God of the sword and shield, the Iron Wall, was born in the middle of a war. His combat training started when he was a mere 3 years old, and he was taught by who many considered to be the best fighter around, Simis the Stalwart. 13 years later, the war was still being fed by endless bloodshed, and the enemy forces invaded Braelor's home town and killed Simis. Braelor mourned over his trainer's death, and vowed to avenge him by destroying the opposing army. Simis had trained him well, making Braelor a neigh-unstoppable force in single combat. It seemed that Braelor, at times, had superhuman strength, even blocking a catapult-flung rock with his shield, earning him his nickname "Iron Wall". He led his forces to victory in the war, and became leader of the entire kingdom. Everything was going well, until the Jungle Tyrant Yharim declared ownership of the entire cosmos and attacked the kingdom. All normal warriors would be wiped from existence in a conflict of this scale, but Braelor held off Yharim's forces singlehandedly before driving them out of the area. But the kingdom was in ruins, and most everyone there dead, the rest injured. Braelor fled to the mountains to seek assistance from the divine, and here it was where he gained his demigodhood in order to stop Yharim from taking over the world, nay, the Cosmos.

It is said that the armor was made from the flesh, teeth, and nails of its original owner. Only someone who were to prove their strength among the strongest warriors would be able to break their seal.

Phase 2:
Below 75% life it starts spawning Dried Seekers on hit. Speed increases a lot as health gets lower from this point onward.

Expert:
Much faster and larger.

Tip:
Make a small platform section that goes up high. The Scourge has high horizontal speed but low vertical speed.

Lore: When the Sea King, Amidias refused to partake in the forbidden ritual to awaken the Moon Lord/The Dark Lord from his slumber and imprisonment on the moon the Jungle Tyrant King, Yharim had the witch Calamitas evaporate all of the seas water with fire and brimstone. This event caused the great sea worm, now known as the Desert Scourge, to go on a rampage. Deprived of its previous food source, Crab and Shark meat, it devoured all of the inhabitants of the now dried up sea kingdom. Now the sea worm has dried out and become a hollow shell of its former self, constantly seeking fresh meat for it to devour.

Spawn: Can spawn naturally in the Desert biome after Skeletron has been defeated.

Phase 2:
The first dead worm will spawn mini Perforators as soon as it is killed. Mini Perforators are incredibly agile and relentless. The two remaining worms gain increased attack power and speed.

Phase 3:
The second dead worm will spawn more mini Perforators when killed. The final remaining worm will gain increased attack power and speed.

Expert:
The giant toothy Perforator is almost immune to damage until the other Perforators are killed.

Tip:
Make an arena of platforms that goes up high. The worms have huge horizontal speed but low vertical speed.

Lore: Once a single Eater of Worlds, the Perforators are separate entities that have lost the need for their eyes after evolving to live as a parasite inside the creature called the Brain of Cthulhu. If they lose their host, they burrow as a group to the depths of the crimson and wait for a new host to come across them. Unluckily for you, their new host is you.

Phases 2:
Similar to Brain of Cthulhu phase 2 but it takes MUCH less knockback. The mind will gain more knockback resistance as health gets lower and will completely ignore knockback when below 30% life. Hive Mind can fire a star-pattern of vile clots as well as the regular spread of vile clots. Can spawn Dank Creepers as well as Dark Hearts at certain intervals.

Expert:
Hive Mind gains a huge amount of defense while any Dank Creepers are active (Phase 1 only). Dank Creepers leave shade clouds behind when killed.

Tip:
High speed/mobility will allow you to avoid most of the Mind's projectiles. This is especially helpful in phase 2 where it chases you down.

Lore: The Hive Mind, the grotesque creature that lies in the depths of the corruption, is actually a colony of creatures that travel together, combining their abilities to form a greater presence responsible for spreading and sustaining the corruption. Corruptions are just breeding grounds to creatures which form larger and larger clusters.

Phase 2:
When both gods are dead the Core becomes vulnerable. It will fly around like mad and fire small amounts of abyss balls very quickly.

Expert:
Both phases can fire abyss mines that linger and do massive damage. In phase 1 both gods, while standing still, fire abyss balls more quickly.

Tip:
Stay a medium distance away from the Gods. This allows you ample time to dodge their projectiles.

Lore and Origin: The Slime God was the first ruler of Slimedom, and a vociferous opponent of the Jungle Tyrant/Lord of the Cosmos Yharim. He led armies of gelatinous fighters including his own son, who we now know as King Slime, against Yharim's demigods and was very successful. Eventually, Yharim got fed up with the Slime God and mind-controlled his heir, made him overthrow his father, and forced the slimes to follow the Jungle Tyrant till the end. The Slime God (who at the time was a normal, yet large slime) started to delve into insanity. He gathered other outcast slimes (Ebonian and Crimulan) to form a cult. The crimulan and ebonian slimes formed together to become their own gods, with the slime god collapsing in on himself from his incredible power, forming a small but extremely volatile core. He then channeled the power of the Corruption and Crimson to become what he is today, a God of all things Slimy.

Tip:
Drink a warmth potion! This will reduce the cold damage (chill/forzen) effects that its' projectiles can cause.

Lore: Yharim's prison for the magic of the ice castle, Cryogen, is a representation of Yharim's bitter cold hatred for the archmage of ice. When Yharim was young he ventured from the jungle temple to the ancient ice temple where the archmage Permafrost resided. Yharim asked to learn from him in order to "peacefully" calm the denizens of the underworld. But the archmage saw through his ruse and viewed only bitter contempt within Yharim's heart and the fiery urge to annihilate the underworld obsidian towers and their inhabitants. When the archmage refused Yharim kindly took his leave, bowing to the archmage and returning to his home. However, the archmage had not realized that Yharim had a contingency plan in place; Yharim had expertly placed magical runes hidden in a pocket dimension right outside the ice temple. Within minutes after Yharim took his leave he activated the runes, causing the entire ice temple to be enveloped in pure darkness. Cryogen is what remains, a mindless frozen structure that was once trapped by Yharim due to it's uncontrollable nature and powerful magic. Little does the Terrarian know that defeating the Wall of Flesh will rouse far more than mere spirits upon its' defeat...

Spawn: Can spawn in the Snow biome naturally after Plantera has been defeated.

Calamitas
View attachment 151545
Items start from the top of the first column and go down then continue at the second column!

Calamitas AI:
Has 2 phases, 3 on Expert Mode:

Phase 1:
Acts like Retinazer but much more powerful. Lasers inflict a strong debuff and increase in velocity as they travel. Lasers split into three fast homing lasers after a couple seconds.

Phase 2:
Calamitas becomes enraged and resurrects her brothers (Catastrophe and Cataclysm) to defeat you. Calamitas herself begins firing hellfire balls that do massive damage along with her regular laser attacks. Catastrophe (the grey one) will breath brimstone fire and charge at you. His charges become much more brutal and fast as his health gets lower. Cataclysm (the red one) will breath brimstone fire and charge at you. His brimstone breath becomes MUCH larger and more damaging as his health lowers. Calamitas will summon a swarm of Life Seekers when her health reaches 55% and 10% respectively.

Phase 3 (Expert):
Calamitas' brothers MUST be defeated in Phase 2 for her to take reasonable damage again. At 55% and 10% health Calamitas will resurrect her brothers again instead of summoning Life Seekers.

Tip:
Wear any equipment that increases your speed. If you can fly around fast enough she'll never be able to hit you and you'll avoid her brothers.

Lore and Origin: Calamitas' true name is unknown, she was born to a family of very skilled mages who were in hiding from a large, angry mob inside of a cave. They taught her how to master light and dark magic, but also to use both types for good, never for harm or evil. One morning, Calamitas woke up to find her parents and siblings dead, hung on crucifixes by the angry mob. Filled with hatred, Calamitas forgot what her parents taught her, and brought devastation upon the mob, burning them with hellfire and teleporting them to the underworld to be tortured forever. Calamitas retreated to the cave and realized what had happened. She practiced the forbidden magic of necromancy in order to revive her parents and 2 brothers, until she heard an unknown voice telling her to seek refuge in the Jungle. After this, Calamitas wandered until she found Yharim, who had heard of her power over the arcane and recruited her into his army of evil warriors. When Amidias refused to help Yharim in a certain ritual Yharim had Calamitas incinerate the oceans, thus causing the Desert Scourge to go on a rampage. But the good in Calamitas still existed and one day Calamitas betrayed Yharim to help Braelor and Statis, two of Yharim's most valiant opponents. When Yharim heard of her betrayal he cursed her, turning her into a calamitous eyeball, the origin of her current name. Today, Calamitas trusts no one and kills anything she sees. She has mastered necromancy and revived her brothers as monstrous eyeballs just like herself.

View attachment 152413

Once summoned the Leviathan and her Siren Lure will attack.

Phase 3:
When her lure gets below 33% life the Leviathan becomes faster. The Siren Lure shoots much more quickly, charges very quickly, and summons minions more frequently.

Expert:
The Leviathan is faster and her lure is more aggressive and does more damage.

Tip:
Being underwater or wet makes the Leviathan and her lure less aggressive.

The Plaguebringer Goliath
View attachment 148824
Items start from the top left and go down then continue at the second column!
Plaguebringer Goliath Bag - Expert Mode only.
Abomination - Used at night in the Jungle to summon the Plaguebringer.
Toxic Heart - Plagues the player if above 50% life. Gives the player a plague AoE that annihilates all that come near you. Expert item.
Malevolence - Very powerful bow that fires exploding plague arrows that release powerful bees on death.
Mephetic Sprayer - Very powerful flamethrower that causes plague damage.
Pestilent Defiler - Extremely powerful pistol that fires exploding plague rounds that release three more bullets on death.
Plague Staff - Very powerful staff that launches a barrage of plague fangs.
The Hive - Extremely powerful rocket launcher that can launch four different types of rockets. All rockets release bees that vary in strength on death.
Virulent Katana - Powerful sword that releases a spray of plague dust on swing.

Plaguebringer Goliath AI:
Has...a lot phases:

Phase 1:
The goliath acts like an extremely powerful Queen Bee that can charge more quickly, fire powerful plague stingers and plague rockets, spawn plague bees that vary in strength and size, and will enrage if the player ever exits the Jungle biome.

Phase 2 (Expert Mode):
At 70% life the goliath will spawn a shade of herself that has similar abilities to her own. However, the shade is nowhere near as damaging or threatening as the goliath herself, but it should be taken down as soon as possible to avoid getting obliterated by the onslaught of projectiles that happens while it's alive.

Phase 3:
At 50% life until death the goliath has a chance to activate her Plague Nuke Barrage. This will be indicated by the message that will be shown in the bottom left of the screen, upon which the player has 5 seconds to get under something solid. Once the 5 seconds have passed a barrage of about 30 plague missiles will rain down from above and cause massive damage if the player isn't under solid tiles.

Phase 4 (Expert Mode):
At 40% life the goliath will spawn another shade of herself. It is again highly advised to defeat it before bringing the battle to the goliath herself again.

Phase 5 (Expert Mode):
At 10% life the goliath will spawn a final shade of herself. This is the most difficult part of the battle.

ALL HEALTH LEVELS:
The goliath and the shade will both get FAR more aggressive as their health lowers. Exiting the Jungle for more than 10 seconds will instantly kill you AND cause the goliath to despawn.

Expert:
The goliath will summon shades of herself at certain intervals. The goliath's projectiles gain damage boosts as her health reaches certain intervals (75%, 50%, and 25% respectively). The goliath has a FAR greater chance to fire her rockets as her health gets lower. The goliath gains a large defense boost as her health lowers, much like the Expert Queen Bee. The goliath's stinger projectiles explode.

Tip:
Fighting underground may be better since it will provide cover from her barrage of nukes and her projectiles.

Lore and Origin: Plaguebringer Goliaths used to be Queen Bees, until Yharim unleashed a bio-tech virus that rotted the bees out from the inside. Eventually the virus reached the bee's brain and made them fly to Yharim's lair to be fitted with Machine-Guns, plagued Flamespitters, Rotting Rockets, Holographic Devices to confuse a foe, and lastly, tough plating made from a Chlorophyte-Titanium alloy. Hornets were also effected by the Virus, and were outfitted with deadly, plagued stingers, as well as the same tough plating. But only the former Queen Bees were given the title of Plaguebringer Goliath. These abominations carried out some of Yharim's deadliest plans, and captured many a traitor for the Jungle Tyrant to feed to the Devourer. Entire hives became plagued, giving Yharim a mindless army of bees.

Spawn: Can spawn in the Jungle biome naturally after the Moon Lord has been defeated.

Providence, the Profaned God
Heavily WIP for a future update (don't ask when). Prepare to die in holy fire.

Devourer of Gods AI:
Has 4 phases:

Phase 1:
Fires nebula lasers and attempts to eat the player. Head does massive damage and has a chance to chill the player if they are hit. The body segments are nearly immune to all damage. AI changes to flying if the player gets too far away from the head.

Phase 2:
At 75% life the Devourer will begin to charge up and fire lightning bolts that travel from left to right. Speed increases and he begins to summon Stasis Probes and Devourer Spawns as he takes damage.

Phase 3:
At 50% life the Devourer will begin to fire star bolts. Speed increases again and he now has a greater chance to summon Probes and Spawns.

Phase 4:
At 25% life the Devourer will begin to fire gravity spit. Speed increases again and he now has a much greater chance to summon Probes and Spawns.

Expert:
At 50% life the Devourer will begin to fire Frost Beams that can freeze the player. Below 10% life the Devourer goes insane.

Tip:
The Devourer's head and tail take 4 times the normal damage from all weapons.

Lore: The Devourer of Gods, originally known as a mere myth in Terrarian legends, is a monstrous cybernetic serpent from the depths of an eldritch-conceived pocket dimension. It's home is devoid of all lifeforms with an endless blanket of hazy purple mist extending as far as the eye can see. This was not always the Devourer's home as it used to tunnel through the earth in the Terrarian's world, eating and crushing all that dared to stand in its' way. However, as the Devourer's food sources became more adept at avoiding its' attack patterns it began to starve, leading it to use the power of those it devoured to tear a hole in the dimensions. This is now where the Devourer hides, awaiting for some foolish challenger, be it god or otherwise, to awaken it from it's slumber. The Devourer will occasionally launch 'sneak attacks' by tearing through the dimensions and eviscerating unsuspecting victims to feed it's every-growing segments.
Origin: The Devourer came to be after Lord Yharim discovered that a giant sentient vibrant purple worm creature had killed and eaten a platoon of his best soldiers. Yharim originally wanted to kill the creature for revenge, but instead he found a better purpose for the beast. Yharim made a deal with the Devourer, as long as the Devourer would serve him until death he would feed the Devourer the most powerful entities he could capture. The Devourer agreed, and soon after Yharim captured his two most hated traitors, Braelor and Statis. Yharim threw them inside the pocket dimension without any way to defend themselves. Yharim watched and waited until he could hear the screams of the two demi-gods as they were crunched and torn to bloody pieces by his newfound pet. Afterwards Yharim rewarded the Devourer further by armoring him with reinforced spiked steel shells, specifically designed to resist piercing and explosive attacks.

Jungle Dragon, Yharon
View attachment 151549
Items start from the top right and go down!
Dragon Egg - Used in the Jungle to summon Yharon.
Yharon Soul Fragment - Dropped by Yharon on Expert Mode. Used to craft Expert dev. weapons.
Yharim's Gift - Gives the player a large amount of defense while outside the Jungle. Meteors rain down when you are hit. You spawn exploding dragon dust as you move. Expert item.

Yharon's Kindle Staff - Summons the Son of Yharon to fight for you.
Dragon's Breath - Fires a barrage of exploding dragon's breath rounds.
Phoenix Flame Barrage - Drops a deluge of holy fireballs.

Jungle Dragon, Yharon AI:
Has 4 phases:

Phase 1:
Yharon will move similarly to Duke Fishron albeit much faster. For his first attack he will spit fireballs in random directions with random velocities occasionally that linger and slowly home in on the player; after around 5 to 10 seconds the fireballs will explode. His second attack is charging you down very quickly which happens after all of his projectile-based moves. His third attack is spawning two flare tornadoes, one tornado will slowly fall below him and leave a flarenado; the second one will home in on the player at increasing speeds until it either hits a tile or the player, upon which a second tornado will spawn.

Phase 2:
At 70% life Yharon will roar and initiate murder mode. In this phase he gains a ton of speed and various other attacks. For his first attack he will spin in a circle and summon a large amount of dragon dust that flies outwards and explodes after a few seconds. For his second attack he will charge the player at fast speeds which happens after all of his projectile/NPC spawning moves. His third attack is spawning a large flare that homes in on the player quickly, when it dies it spawns a MASSIVE Infernado.

Phase 3:
At 40% life Yharon will roar again and initiate berserk murder mode. In this phase he is INSANELY fast and uses most attacks from phases 1 and 2. For his first attack he will spin in a circle and summon a large amount of dragon dust that flies outwards and explodes after a few seconds, he will also spit the same fireballs from phase 1. For his second attack he will charge at insane speeds which happens after all of his projectile/NPC spawning madness. His third attack is spawning two regular flare tornadoes that both fall to the ground and spawn flarenadoes, but he also fires a large flare that homes in and spawns a giant Infernado.

Phase 4:
At 10% life Yharon will turn invisible and try to teleport either above or below you. Use the minimap to pinpoint where he is. After teleporting he will charge 1 to 3 times very quickly. He can only be hurt when he charges in this phase.

Projectiles at certain health levels:
When Yharon is below 90% health he will begin summoning flaming meteors from the sky, the amount increases the lower his health is. When Yharon is below 70% health he will begin summoning giga flares that split into phoenix flame trails, the amount increases the lower his health is.

Expert:
Yharon is much faster compared to Normal mode.

ALL HEALTH LEVELS:
Yharon will become a tanky beast whenever you exit the Jungle after 10 seconds have passed. Stay in the Jungle if you want to hurt him!

Tip:
Leave the Jungle for a short time if the area gets too hectic. Remember, you have 10 seconds when outside the Jungle each time you exit it, might as well use them.

Lore: Yharim grew up with no one besides his monstrous cohorts to keep him company after the passing of (nearly) his entire family...with the exception of his leal dragon guardian, Yharon. Long ago, a powerful ranger found an egg within the depths of the Jungle Temple. She gifted the egg to her son, Yharim, to raise as a companion while she was away on her missions. Before the egg hatched it was tossed into the underworld lava, along with Yharim's entire family due to the arrogance and despicable nature of the elder brother. However, the heat of the lava only caused the young dragon to mature more quickly. Soon, it hatched into a furious beast, and was able to save Yharim from his demise, though the same could not be said for the rest of his family. Badly burned and filled with hatred and contempt, Yharim slowly crawled onto the back of his faithful companion. The dragon comforted him as best it could before Yharim commanded that they return to the temple, a new power and order was about to rise. From there the dragon aided Yharim in annihilating the corrupt leaders of the jungle and putting the power in the hands of someone with a broken heart and many scars. The dragon was more than just a mere friend to the tyrant, the warmth and light from the dragon's soul often comforted the tyrant king in times of great depression. Without his pet, the tyrant would've been dead long ago.

Wow. This is amazing.

So one thing I've been working on for the next version of my item compilation mod is simple cross mod convenience recipes. Such as these recipes using Thorium's True Blood Thirster in place of the True Bloody Edge.

BloodThirsterTerraEdge.png

Here's the Terra Edge being craftable with the True Blood Thirster in place of the True Bloody Edge

BloodThirsterYharimSword.png

And here is Tyrant Yharim's Ultisword, same recipe as in standard calamity the only exception is the True Bloody Edge being replaced with the True Blood Thirster from Thorium.

I figured I'd ask the devs of calamity if they are fine with me doing this, the cross mod stuff will only be for certain weapons that are literally the same, like for example, the Bloody Edge and Blood Thirster, they take the same requirements to craft and are technically the same weapon, being a crimson counterpart to the nights edge.

So calamity devs, are you fine with me doing this?
If you guys want I can even share the code for this via PM.

Oh those look so delicious, terra was always my favorite character, well other than gogo...

First tteaser of the year!
So now it looks like a mesh between Volcarona and Regirock... Regirona?

teaser aside, the terra edge is immensely powerful and really does feel like it needs a nerf, its damage output is insane, because of its fast swing rate and projectiles, the healing is very very powerful, to the point i could literally stand in plantera and outheal his damage (provided i did have like 18% damage reduction and 66 defense), and considering its quite obtainable before plantera, and other weapons like the Tyrant Yharim's Ultisword does only slightly more damage, swings slower, and is a post-plantera item.

Perhaps the terra edge could get a damage nerf and slight swing speed nerf, because just seems far better than the normal terra blade and is crafted the exact same way.

I need some help with the hellcaster fragments. Im have been farming them for a long time now and couldn't actually get a single one. What bosses do i need to defeat before they start to drop, or what i need to do before they start to drop???
