They only cast this for about 2 seconds (3 in Expert Mode) and it takes much longer for them to do it again. If you don't follow the "shoot everything at first sight" you're fine.

The Scourge is Pre-EOC, the bosses of this mod are intended to be hard. Its a challenge.

With the new piercing resist that projectile would only do, let's see:

148 / 5 = 29.6
29.6 - Devourer Defense = 10 or so, maybe less.

So yeah, with the new logic in his projectile resist it would do jack against him.
