Now that I think about it Drew, it's been a while since we got a spoiler on the upcoming bosses. (e.g Providence, Andromeda, especially Alpha and Omega) If you're fine with it, can you give us a hint at what's up to come on the new bosses?

I'm backed up with real life work atm, 4 group projects all due on the 30th and homework and family crap on top of that. On top of that I haven't been feeling so hot emotion-wise the past few days:
  1. Not interested in playing any games
  2. No clue how I'm going to get all this work done
  3. Not knowing what to work on because my group members never talk
  4. Haven't heard from my dad in months
  5. And just depression in general
Sorry if there is a lack of progress, I'm just trying to relax and stay calm before the insanity of the upcoming weeks.

Providence will resemble a gigantic solar moth of sorts and will be fought in the Hallowed biome, I have a rough plan for the programming involved for this boss battle. The fight itself will be pretty bullet-hell esque. Just waiting on a sprite for it.
Andromeda hasn't even been started concerning the programming yet, and likely won't be started until winter break.
Alpha and Omega aren't sprited nor has their code been started. No clue when they'll be done.

On a positive note the Calamity biome was programmed by @Graydee so that cheered me up. Otherwise there aren't any new weapon sprites for me to work with, so I'm not releasing anything new until I get weapons to program for. I need at least 20 weapons/items for me to even consider a new update.

So yeah...my emotions are in flux right now and I can't find the ambition to do much of anything. If I get more weapon sprites though then I'll start working hard again, but as of right now I don't want to program another boss after the Yharon fiasco that took me 30 hours to finish.

Honestly thats one of the most obnoxious and not helpful ideas i've heard. Just unequip it if you arent in a boss fight? Like thats one of the most useless ideas i've heard.
Okay well i got to take a step back. Actually it does not zoom when your cursor is on an interactable object but i hate the zoom in general so i personally would appretiate a function to toggle this of like by richtclicking it when hold it converts to the same item just without the effect and vice versa.
And you Atennu should consider that is also provides life reg and mine speed, what is not only for boss fights, so unequiping it every time is not what i want :guidesad:
But according to Mountains Likes i do not think that something is gonna change :guidegrin: maybe i am just the only one that does not like this feature of the emblem and therefore i have to life with that :guidesmile:

Just remember everyone who follows this thread appreciates all you do and is here for you ( i hope anyway) and if you need to take a week to yourself I don't see why anyone would object :guidetongue:

2. Pretty sure it is Providence, as it resembles a moth and we're too in the middle to get straight to Yharim, which should be the last thing planned for this mod.

Btw, just like Andromeda, can we get a size comparison between this thing, Moon Lord, and the Player?

Solar moth-like boss. The ones in the picture aren't even mentioned in the boss progression. (The worm is certainly not Providence)

I'm trying to sprite the Profaned Guardian too, but I have 3 weapons and a headpiece to do first.

Oh, I noticed the dragon worm thing. It's.. Wierd.
And the aquatic lion thing on the left, with some other stuff sticking out on both sides.

You know, I actually had an idea for a boss that split into a winged boss, an artillery snake, and a lion-like creature. I guess I'll just make it into a mount version of that.

I think the dinosaur and worm are the same thing- The colors are very similar. Very.

EDIT: Nevermind. The neck is too bulky for the worm thing. So three bosses..
 
Uhh, I have a bug- Whenever I fly high enough, the plaguebringer goliath just floats indefinitely past the world limits.. I have to exit out of the world to get back into the normal state.

That happened to me too a while ago, it flew away, never came back, background still there, I used CheatSheet's Kill All button. "The Plaguebringer Goliath has been defeated!", background is normal again, used Vacuum Items, no loot.

Solution. Don't fly out of the Jungle and that won't happen. You're not supposed to fight her outside the Jungle anyway, so the loot loose is pretty much your fault.

Seriously, not sure how to fix this since the y velocity is tied to the player. Making it lower would make the boss sit in place.
