Switch Infinite Petrified Debuff from Medusa

I got frozen by a Medusa in the jungle, and now my character is infinitely frozen. I tried quitting and rejoining the world, nothing. I even restarted the game, nothing. Is there anyway to fix this? I don’t want to delete my character because of this.

Try having your character die. If they die, it may remove the debuff from the character.

Like Animus mentioned, having your character die is a workaround.

If you’re in a spot where enemies can get you, take off your armor and let them kill you. If you’re in a spot where there are no enemies, here are two options - a) bring a new character into the world and put lava where your original character will spawn, or b) bring a new character into the world and dig a long vertical tunnel so that when your original character spawns in it’ll fall and die from fall damage.

Doesn't have to be too long, they have petrified after all
