Weapons & Equip Laser Rifle should benefit from Meteor Armor set bonus

Considering the Gray and Orange zapinators are able to be buffed by the Meteor Armor, and going into hardmode the player is likely to have meteor armor considering it's the best mage armor to fight wall, this would be a nice leg up for mage players in early hardmode until they get better equipment and weapons.

Laser rifle is not the best weapon, and you dont use Meteor armor over jungle armor in hardmode. This is a win-win.

Honestly, I have more than once been disappointed to discover this wasn’t the case. I would totally love it.
Though for that matter, would the Martian weapons also receive this buff?

As funny as it would be, I think having an infinite Laser Machine Gun and Charged Blaster Cannon would, by most measures, be a pretty bad idea.

It'd be really, really funny though. Maybe people would actually consider looking for them over just throwing Razorblade Typhoon at everything.. even if the defense is lacking.

I'd think not. It's pretty unreasonable balance wise and doesn't really make sense anyways to use meteor that lategame. Laser Rifle is right at the point you'd still reasonably be getting the last little bit out of meteor armor and thematically works as an upgraded space gun.

It would be fine balance-wise, actually. Infinite Mana only equates to about a 10% damage gain over just chugging mana potions for most weapons (including these), and this would also be competing with Spectre Armor's extremely powerful set bonuses and other colossally high-damage late-game armor combinations.

I also don't really see the problem with wearing Meteor Armor this late, either; it will not be better than the competition at this stage, and the option of reusing old tools because their unique niches have become relevant again is always cool.
