Chis, noticing it's nightfall, but not done sewing the 2 skins, starts doing it at an erratic rate, their hands shaking. They appear to be given intense anxiety by staying awake. They appear to be hyperventilating, before finally finishing and immediately entering their shell no more than a nanosecond later, not even dropping the skin. They appear to be clutching it as a way to release stress.

[You can see a shooting star in the sky! it's beautiful. It appears that this might be a calm snowy night, or not. You can hear creatures rustling through the snow, potentially attracted by noise, chis's scent, or probably just by coincidence. They all sound fast.]

Braven grabs one of his throwing knives and throws it at the coyote, aiming for a non-lethal his that would hopefully just leave the coyote unable to keep chasing the bunny.
