"I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo."

"The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened?"

"But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why."

"But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something. "
So in contrast to all of the depressing status' I've been posting lately, I got to pet miniature donkeys today so that's neat.

I was actually kind of surprised with how friendly they were to me considering that was the first time I saw them and I was unfamiliar to them. One of them was playful and tried to eat my pants. It was really cute.

Discovering the heights of your frequently watched actors is a strange feeling.

I've always had this little headcanon that I'm a tiny person that hasn't faded away from my childhood years, when in reality I'm about average in terms of height and find I'm taller than quite a few of them. Lo and behold, I'm not only taller than Markiplier, apparently it's by three whole inches, too.

Kind of surreal envisioning them standing next to me.
Can't be disappointed that Otherworld was canceled if you willed yourself not to care about it in the first place.
you uh, forgot to change your name back after april 1st
At this point I don't know why I go to news websites expecting good news. It's almost always exclusively the opposite.

Misfortune, drama, and tragedy are far more profitable... regretably.

And even then you don't know what news is even true, and what is been put through extremely biased filters, etc. I don't watch mainstream news, and I've learned to take anything on Youtube with a grain of salt.

It's always extreme left, or extreme right, and almost always, the website/station/etc is trying to push its beliefs and agenda by carefully wording what they report to put a slant on it, and there's just too much political BS and bickering going on these days, lobbying, etc. Everybody's got an agenda and they want to make sure they get you on their side.
why did people think that kirby: planet robobot was a good game

I've never understood the appeal of hunting for sport.

Honestly, even worse is when people kill domesticated species. Like, sure, you didn't really need to kill that deer in the middle of the woods, but why the hell would you kill a stray cat that wandered into your backyard? What looks like a stray might even belong to someone; cats generally don't like to keep their collars on.

Seriously, every other week it seems somebody finds a cat impaled with an arrow somewhere.

Never understood why people think it's okay to kill something that wandered onto your property. I suppose it's legal, but as a first response? A wild animal walks onto your lawn and your first impulse is to go "let's murder it" rather than yelling at it?

Sad thing is that this applies to humans. Some people think it's okay to shoot at other people on their property if they won't get off. If it's that big a deal, you could just sue them.
