Maybe something to do with dragons?

Here's an idea: Allan is framed by someone as a dragon supporter and has to go into temporary hiding.

No, I feel like that would cause more problems than it solves.

I was thinking something more like Allan helping hunt down dragons, perhaps pretending to help them to later turn them over to the government

Chir' has two, but they're nocturnal.

And even then, they already have their den.

Where would their den be?

Basically in the middle of nowhere in a foresty area, there is a little stream nearby but that's the only thing of any note.
