While I agree that this might skew the voting, the damage has already been done and there really isn't much that we can do about it now.
As for reddit, I feel that it doesn't really matter because anybody can put their submission on there (Hell even I did) This doesn't necessarily mean anything.
I Genuinely really like DisRicardo's entry and would be happy for it to win, the amount of time and effort put into it shows, and I feel like this is the main reason it is popular among the community. The youtube video probably did help but I feel like this entry would have been a top contender regardless.
Coming into the final voting tomorrow however, I think it is very important for youtubers or people with large followings to avoid directly favoring a certain concept, as there will be far less entries to choose from and the vote (as far as we can tell) will be the final say for what makes the cut.
Anyway, I wish everyone luck. I anxiously await the announcement tomorrow as I'm sure you all do as well.

i've been so nervous the past week, too. today is the day when we all find out if our vanity sets made it into the finals. i mostly think that i won't make it because everyone else's great ideas overshadow mine (at least that's how i feel), but a part of me is still hoping that i'm a finalist. even so, no matter who wins, this contest was a great oppurtunity for many people, and i'm glad i was able to participate in a big event like this. thanks Re-Logic for this wonderful game, and good luck to the finalists!

I wanted to write this reply for a bit, some well-meaning albeit unsolicited advice lol. I know it's hard not to, but try not to think about if you'll make it or not. Try not to worry if you make the cut, or if you do if you'll be one of the three, because whatever will happen will happen because of the natural course of things. The anxiousness of the unknown over something that you've poured your heart and soul into creating is tenuous and can be overwhelming. But like the final update for this great game, it's not so much about the actual journey's end, but the journey itself we all took to get here. The art and creations you've put forth now are incredible but know that the work you do in the future will be even more so. Try not to be harsh on yourself because what you've all made is nothing short of amazing. Before this contest began there was less in the world, and over the weeks and days and hours you've created something out of nothing, where once there was a void you've filled it with your creations. And no matter the outcome, that journey you took is something to be proud of and looked upon fondly.
I like to say that there's this long path of being a creator and every single one of us is on the same path, just at different points in our lives. Some are sprinting ahead trying to catch up to the great masters, others have just started to seriously contemplate this journey, and look at those sprinting as unattainable. But we're all on that path and if you move forward, diligent and purposeful in your practicing of your craft, you'll become the person others look up to and wonder how they'll ever get to that point. But we're all on that same path.
Anyways hehe just my 2 cents... Best of luck to every one who participated, no matter the outcome never stop making things, never stop creating

I saw more plague doctors ( like 5 more ) so you can be copyring too but check all submissioins before yours will be for hours so he didn´t check all entries and he just posted. But yes, this one looks copired
If you are going to make a mod containing other people's artwork, please ensure you ask and receive their permission first. Otherwise, that would be considered plagiarism, which is in breach of both forum and modding rules.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, we'll investigate it and take appropriate action. With that said, we don't allow public accusations of plagiarism because we want to prevent witch hunts, especially when those accusations turn out to be incorrect or ill founded (I'm not saying that that's the case here). In future, if anyone believes an instance of plagiarism has taken place, be it in this contest or anywhere else on the forums (mods, for example), please report it to the staff in private. Handling these matters publicly serves no one.
I'd like to ask everyone to stop discussing this matter any further. Rest assured it's being handled.
