My first ever attempt at building a nice house

It's been 8 years since I've tried building a house that isn't just a wooden box. Thoughts?
I'm in the really early game right now so I don't have a lot of materials to make it better, but when I do I'll make sure to improve on it.

Nice for an early game build. When you can, it could be made better by just filling in the hole underneath it, by either filling it with dirt or converting it to more house.

I am by no means good at building in Terraria, but if I could offer any advice, I would suggest adding some variation in the walls even the floor. Even little things like placing a different colored blocks next to the side of the windows can give your house a completely different look!
