IC Random Journey in The Universe (IC)

[Streyll]

After a while Streyll finishes and lies down.

 

[Ivyss]

The others finish as well.
A few little birds scout out the surrounding area.

 

[Streyll]

The void is nearby.
And so is Chris.

 

[Ivyss]

"*The void really is close, and that's the same infected.*"
"*What do you mean same?*"
"*Same as last time.*"

 

[Streyll]

Streyll gets up and gets ready to take off.
"*Do you know the one who is infected?*"

 

[Ivyss]

"*No, but he has infected some we do know.*"

 

[Streyll]

"*Oh, who were they?*"

 

[Ivyss]

"*Hydras, with hatchlings that probably got infected as well.*"
Everyone's ready to take off.

 

[Streyll]

Streyll takes off and hovers above the ground.
"*Is the infected able to fly?*"

 

[Ivyss]

"*He's a dragon.*"
The others take off as well.

 

[Streyll]

Streyll begins flying away.
"*What if it sees us?*"

A heavily armoured and shielded helicopter can be seen flying over the void.

 

[Ivyss]

"*It won't.*"
Chir' makes everyone invisible.
"*Why didn't I do this last time?*"
"*You tell me that.*"
They all follow.

The chopper has a beam fired at it.

 

[Streyll]

Streyll continues flying away from the void.
"*So, you're sure they won't be able to see us?*"

The helicipter gets hit, but doesn't get damaged or infected, and instead tries to find who fired the beam.

 

[Ivyss]

"*Certainly should be that way.*"
"*And I can cause a distraction if needed.*"

They certainly do see it, flying extremely fast right at them.

 

[Streyll]

"*Good.*"
Streyll looks around for a good spot to land.

The helicopter fires a prototype antimatter air-to-air missile at the infected.

 

[Ivyss]

"*But it wouldn't be the first time someone's passed my illusion. Wish I'd picked something more useful, really, than just illusions.*"

It hits the mask, which could withstand a black hole.

 

[Streyll]

"*Well, what I know is rather... well... not useful for combat, at least not normally.*"

The helicopter starts flying away from the void.

 

[Ivyss]

"*I assume you're not talking about healing, because that seems like it'd be quite useful in a fight.*"

Still being chased though.

 

[Streyll]

"*Correct.*"

The helicopter stops and flies around while firing 10 prototype antimatter rockets at the infected.

 

[Ivyss]

"*So what is it then?*"

Most miss, one gets blocked by void barrier, and one gets a proper hit, causing the mask to get launched at the chopper with enough velocity to go through its armor as there's no more body for it to be on.
