Tool TerraCustom for 1.3

I just tried and expert works for me, not sure what is going on.

I'm having this problem right now too. I'm creating small worlds, trying for expert, and using the mods: Calamity, Thorium, and GRealm. Has there been a fix for this? The weird part is the game is reading them as Normal but I found this lil program, TNoob and TExpert, which I thought I'd use to solve the problem but TExpert says the world file already IS expert. If I change it to Normal then back to Expert its still normal when opening Terraria.

I had this issue too, but recreating the world a few times solved this. I'd recommend to select 'medium' when you have to choose the world size, then after that you can resize the world like you prefer. Try not to use saved settings. It was a little bit experimenting to make this work (My world was bigger than large with Large World Enabler)
Anyway your mods shouldn't be the cause, I'm using 25 and it worked after a few tries. Just play a bit with the settings and you'll most likely get an expert world.

I have a weird feeling that seeds don't work with this tool, at least not with custom settings. I've generated a few worlds with the same name, settings and seeds and they are different each time.

Oh, but if you change anything at all, it'll no longer generate to be remotely anything like what a vanilla seed would be like. Bump something up to 101% and the whole world will be different. If you already have a seed you want that works in vanilla, you'll need to use vanilla to generate that seed.

I'm also having issues with generating both Corruption and Crimson. Occasionally it will get stuck on Generating Structures: Corruption Pits. I want to point out that I'm using a few mods that tinker with world generation.

If it's occasional, I guess it's not too bad. It's hard to predict all the interactions between settings and mods. Tinker with settings if it helps.

@jopojelly oh, okay. I don't change the settings that much. The only thing I do is set the ores I want, backgrounds, styles and enable world features such as pyramids & giant trees. I don't play with biome/chest spawns or terrain sliders at all.

Thanks, that did the trick! 4 new world spawned :) I mentioned the mods bc I had other loaded but when they were enabled I couldn't even get started. I left on the 3 big mods and it would progress fine, except the normal/expert thing. I'm a happy terrarian!

I want to generate a corruption world with no corruption chasms(The chasms are an eyesore but I love the hardmode stripe and desert).Problem is it freezes up at "Generating Structures...Corruption Pits" if I set the slider to under 2 biomes(26% or lower). Is it simply not possible to generate a corruption world with less than 2 corruption chasms? I'd even settle for just a single one, but it still freezes if I don't set it to at least 2(28%).

Also, I'm trying to use the "save after each step" option under debug to fine-tune my world generation, but for some reason it keep starting a brand new one and not loading the previously-saved steps. How do I get it to pick up from where it left off?

That option doesn't pick up from where it left off.

And I'm not sure why it would do that, I'll have to check it later when I have time.

So, I don't know if someone probably already asked you, are you going to make this compatible with tmodloader 0.9.1 ? If yes when will it happen ?
Sorry for bothering you and for my bad English .

BPjPHEu.png Got this error. Using tmodloader, is that the problem?

edit: Im an idiot i forgot to enable large world enabler

I would suggest temporarily disabling any mods that do not effect world generation, just to eliminate them as the source of the problem.

Also, did this error happen during world creation or during mod loading?

I was wondering, is there a way for TerraCustom to support world creation for Terraria Leveled? Worlds created outside of Terraria Leveled will not yield EXP for ores generated upon creation.
