This is the Terraria Challenge thread. Share ideas for challenges for other users to complete, and then discuss your or others' progress in the challenge. Thanks to @tornado1234 🪓 for coming up with this idea with me. Here's how it works:
1. Someone (me first) will propose a challenge for others to complete
2. Anyone who wants to will try and complete the challenge themself
3. While this is happening, the challengers should share screenshots, progress, and talk about strategies for the challenge. This is not meant to be competitive, so it would be great to share your strategies and help others improve theirs
4. Those who are not doing the challenge are still encouraged to discuss strategies and/or share tips for completing a challenge
5. The next challenge can be posted by anyone. However, don’t post the next one until most or all discussion on the last one has concluded, or if most people just want to move on and forget the old one. If more than one are proposed at a time, I will randomly choose one.
(That point is open to revision, if you think there’s a better way for that to work then tell me either here or in a DM with me)
Important Information:
1. Don't just share screenshots. It's fine and even encouraged to share screenshots as long as you make sure you're discussing progress in a challenge. Otherwise, this thread could be locked!
2. Please keep it reasonable and don't say anything ridiculous like "Kill Moon Lord with the wand of sparking!"
3. Don't cheat! Don’t claim to have done it if you used godmode or something.
4. Please make sure there's actual discussion value in the challenge - "Make a cosplay vanity of Mario!" could be fun but isn't very discussion-worthy
5. All difficulties are allowed unless otherwise mentioned in the challenge
6. If you have any questions about how this works, I recommend that you ask them before posting to avoid any possible confusion
7. Vanilla only - No calamity or other mods
CURRENT CHALLENGE:
Beat Daytime EoL with only true melee weapons (Thanks @Clockwork17 for that challenge idea)
