Why doesnt 1.4 have any of the seasonal events?

Why doesnt 1.4 on PC have none of the seasonal events from the 3DS. Just kinda curious. Also before you comment that Halloween and Christmas is on 1.4 I mean the ones exclusively for the 3DS. It would be nice to have some things I can get on valentines day or Easter.

I don't think they've ever been on PC. They aren't good events in any sense of the word, either.

Console and Mobile exclusive content as a whole was not included in 1.3 or later versions of Terraria. An official developer statement on why content from previous generation consoles and 3DS/Mobile was not included can be read here: One Terraria: An Introduction & Future Impacts

As others said it was all pretty much copy and paste content that was highly unbalenced and lackluster. That said if you really want access I think there is a mod which tries to add rebalenced updated versions of the console/mobile content redone to be less copy paste and awful so with the free DLC Tmod loader you can try that out in a build of 1.3.
