As you all might know by now, we are adding a new special seed selection menu that will allow you to combine the special seeds of your choosing.

Along with this change, we will be introducing special effects when you make specific combinations. We already have quite a few in-game, but now I want to hear from you! What are your best ideas for what these combined effects could be? A small example of what we have done so far is combining "The Constant" with "Celebrationmk10," which will start the player out in the center of the world again, while retaining most of the effects from "Celebrationmk10."

I'm looking specifically for changes to world generation and in-game mechanical changes, not extravagant additions like new bosses or overly complicated new items.

You should spawn in a Sky Island with one tree and try to get on the surface and make the bosses figure much bigger than their normal form.
That would be Awesome and fun to play!
 
All seed combination
Player spawns at left or right side of the underworld in a desert with a oasis above them.
The ocean is at the center surface of the map and is lime green and inflicts poison on players who swim in it.
The underworld is frozen over with skyblue lava that inflicts frost burn,
Slimes inflict slow.
Goblin archers inflict poison with arrows.
In hardmode goblin sorcerer deflect magic projectiles and warriors deflect ranged projectiles.
Sky islands have a chance to spawn new enemy the shimbus(a shimmer nimbus useful for a skyblock seed so players can get shimmer which drops similar to lava from hellbats) during monsoons that try to yeet you off sky island's by shimmering you.
Trees now drop dynamite or pink dynamite.
During blood moon all enemies spawn up to 3x bigger and the enemies that knock on doors kick them off the hinges and spawn up to 3.5x more enemies.
Having the angler kid in your town causes enemies to spawn less since he has angler vest set on.
Having princess in hallowed biome makes the non boss enemies not attack the player or villagers.
A small patch of hallowed spawns at center of large world with a sword shrine.
In pre-hard mode corruption and crimson still spread and can't be blown up with bombs you have to craft the boss biome summon to get materials to craft pickaxe now before breaking hearts and shadow orbs. (This could lead to problems with world generation and progression so I don't really support this idea fully)
Pincushion zombies now explode like hornets on getfixedboi sending arrows around them, torch zombies set you ablaze, demon eyes inflict blind.
At the center of the underworld a cemetery biome spawns there.
Npc won't spawn unless conditions are meet. Example: Merchant won't spawn until the eye of cathulu is defeated.
On the surface it can rain meteor fragments that do some damage and set you ablaze & stars kill you similar to getfixedboi.
Plague rain inflicts weakness debuff on players walking out in it and causes zombies to have increased spawns during day time (assuming that there is a day time since it will most likely be eternal night like getfixedboi)
The goblin is more likely to screw you over.
Slimes can spawn with mini enemies inside of the dropping them when defeated.
All water in jungle is replaced with honey blocks while all lava in jungle is replaces with charred honey that always leave lava behind.
There are way more traps and statue traps. Moon bolder is a trap now.
Depending on which side your on example east crimson biome west corruption biome the twins will have a element breath. Ichor breath in crimson and cursed fire in corruption.
All biomes are painted a random color example all snow blocks and ice might be green or red when world generates or the jungle spawns painted opposite color depending on the world evil that it spawns inside. Example red jungle in corruption or purple in crimson. You could just swap the color palate of desert and snow biome so white sand and brown snow.
Jungle living trees spawn on surface world in jungle biomes, dead giant trees in evil biome, and autumn trees in regular biomes. Grass is painted orange on surface.
Hardmode enemies move very fast not jumping face monster getfixedboi fast but still fast. All demon eyes on surface are eye of cathulu sized or close,
Slimes break into smaller slimes of self once except golden slime. Slimes are more likely to have loot.
Tim inflict confused.
You can't regenerate health at all unless you have a item that increase health regen like a campfire, potion, or food in. (which you probably will have food in since you still have to eat)
merchant cant sell food item marshmallows until hardmode. dropping a Eskimo torso and pants on the lost Girl makes her a companion like a summon who gives you immunity to chilled or frozen Or another idea into a npc who you can buy potion buffs from that last until you die. Very expensive probably over 10 gold a purchase.
Critters are frenzied and have to be purified before capturing that would be hilarious a frenzied grubby coming at you in the jungle.

Done via mixing Getfixedboi, FTW, Not the bees!, and CelebrationMK10.
It unlocks a special difficulty NEVER seen before...
Insanity Mode
Everything is SO MUCH HARDER
There's also a new secret boss:
Fleshira - a mixture of EoC, EoW, BoC, and Skeletron. Basically a phm mechdusa.
WoF will have one PAINFUL new thing about it: The 2 eyes and the mouth don't share a health bar, essentially tripling his health.
 
Not the bees seed + No traps gives the player a world with  no references to bees. Yes, that includes the jungle. Plantera bulbs and lizhard temples still spawn but at the desert, and shimmer generates at the beach, but other than that, nothing
 
Multiple seeds affecting world size, one would make it 2x times smaller than the small one (tiny) and the other one will make it 2x times larger than the large one (giant), or 2 seeds affecting the world width and 2 seeds affecting the world height

Combining the giant world one with either some aquatic seed or some other seed (like drunk or maybe even the tiny one) would make all that increased world size just be ocean on both sides

Celebrationmk10 + FTW = friendly fire enabled for EVERYONE. NPCs, monsters, players, and including all area of effect stuff hurting their users.
 
I would like to see a seed which changes all the biome trees, like... Idk, put ash trees all on the surface and the other biome trees in the underworld
 
How about a For The Worthy Getfixedboi combo that when the player crafts a boss summon the boss immediately spawns and it gives a new effect that will prevent you from using any potions.

Drunk world seed without the otherworld music set as the default.
 
It's probably too late, but still.. The constant + No Traps.
1. The world is generated from a winter biome, the skeleton dungeon is repainted blue, an ice crust appears above the surface of the ocean water.
2. The jungle biome is generated in the form of a ball (oval), (Something like from the movie Ice Age 2), the lizard temple in the center, the surface of the jungle is also winter, but a giant jungle tree grows above the biome, the Shimmer biome is generated as usual on the edge of the map
3. Stone (or obsidian) is always generated in caves under lava
4. Mushroom biomes appear above hell, water does not evaporate in hell
5.Giant trees appear without leaves or with snow instead of leaves
6. From The constant, remove the filter (possibly darkness and damage in the dark), leave hunger, you can also add that health regeneration is -1 (the character does not restore life without buffs, fire, potions, etc.), Generation of caves is possible as in this side (or not)
7. From No traps, there are 20% less traps~, trap chests can appear on the surface (possibly)
8. The merchant sells the oven, but does not sell marshmallows.
9. Cyclops deer is strengthened in hardmode (it is possible to add additional loot there), it is also possible to strengthen or weaken all weapons related to cold)
10. all buffs and debuffs related to cold have been increased (the geyser trap, if possible, can be made to set it on fire with ice fire)

The winter biome that is in the game is not enough for me, in the latest updates it was reduced in size, but it always seems very cozy to me, I would like to see a snowy seed, even if not as I described it.

[PLAYER EFFECTS]

1. Player spawns at left or right side of the underworld.

4. Player respawn is near instant if a angel statue is near their spawn or in the inventory.(If no events or bosses are active.)

5. You can't regenerate health at all unless you have a item that increase health regen like a campfire, potion, or food in. (which you probably will have food in since you still have to eat)

6. The merchant and traveling merchant cannot sell food items until hardmode.

7. If a player tries to mine a c4 trap it explodes unless the bottom block is removed to pick it up.

8. All bombs and dynamite now blow up if touching lava.( so you can't toss them in magma now)

9. Players can get food sickness if they rely on the same food item constantly. Causing weakness lowering attack power, defense, and health regen.

10. All debuffs on player have 3 - 5 seconds added to them.

11. All potions last 50% longer to encourage players to buff up and set up farms.


[NPC & ENEMY MODIFIERS.]

1. Pincushion zombies now explode like hornets on getfixedboi sending arrows around them.

2. Torch zombies set you ablaze.

3. Demon eyes inflict blind.

4. The goblin tinkerer is more likely to screw you over.

5. Slimes can spawn with mini enemies inside of them dropping when defeated. ( Think 1 block tall zombies or a swarm of tiny bee sized jungle bats that you can see inside the slime.)

27. All bat types alway give rabies and have vampirism healing all enemies on screen based on damage inflicted. ( Probably 50% damage done.)

28. A corruption enemies give sickness and Armour break.

29. Corruptors now contaminate all infectable blocks with vile spit and now spit 3 projectiles in a spread. (Think shotgun spit)

30. you can kill the multicolored fairies that try to lead you to lot.

31. The fairies prefer to take players to trapped chest.

32. Nimbus strikes players inflicting electrocuted from Martian event.

33. Goblin shamin inflict shadow flame.

34. Ichor shooters inflict slow as well.

35. Chaos elemental will stand in idle before teleporting the player close to them as a extra attack.( A cool down will take effect preventing other chaos from teleporting you.)

36. Harpies now toss giant feathers that are fast and can pierce 3 blocks.

37. Jelly fish chain lightning to all jellys on screen.

38. Sharks can grab you dragging you under.

39. Crabs have armor piercing attacks. Ignoring 35 defense.

40. Hopelites can toss javelins even while taking damage.

41. Frozen mermen always slow and have a high chance of constantly freezing you to death. (They should drop hand warmers if they can stun lock you)

42. Explosive bunny is now out for blood and will run down whatever it finds with vengence.

43. Pirate enemies can take money off the player when damaging them.

44. In hardmode goblin thief can disarm whatever the player has selected. It drops on ground if your inventory is full otherwise it moves to bottom of your inventory off your hotbar.

45. Goblin armies vary in size from 50 enemies to 200 pre wall of flesh. Post wall of flesh they go 200 - 350 goblins.

46. Tiny cursed skulls in dungeon fire a player seeking soul.

47. Giant skull fires a beam that persist similar to the last prism but remain stationary and can't float up or down while attacking.

48. The paladin now can shield dash towards player deflecting ranged attacks.

49. Bone Lee now can dodge with his ninja gear inflicting confused on players.

50. Lava slime can squirt lava similar to slime gun setting players ablaze. (Unless you have molten armor on)

51. Ice golem can toss snow borders in a arch similar to dear clops.

52. Rainbow slime now hops up to 5x higher cause a damaging rainbow similar to rainbow gun.

53. Wolfs spawn in packs of 5 or more.

54. Ice tortoise leaves frost fire as it flies that fall to the ground. Think cursed fire darts from dart rifle but blue.

55. Jungle tortoise inflict armor break and shoots spike in each direction when taking damage. Similar to how jungle slime can shoot needles in all directions at once.

56. Killing the tiny bees from beehives or hive blocks has a chance to summon queen bee.

57. Killing slimes has a chance to spawn king slime anywhere now.

58. Killing a goblin scout increases the chance to trigger invasion on the next day.

59. THE NURSE NO LONGER TREATS PLAYERS DURING BOSS OR INVASION.
[Or alternatively] THE NURSE JACKS HER PRICE UP FOR YOU RISKING HER LIFE.

60. Spirites and ghost such as Floating gross, ghost, wraith, dungeon spirit, etc. Now applies a condition that permanently removes your Hp when contact damaging hits you until healed by nurse or decursed by witch doctor.

61. Slimes now have pinkie knockback but they bounce around like pink boulders when smacked with melee. ( Jingling like king slime mask.)

62. Rune wizards cursed flame last until you kill him. (Act fast Terrarian.)

63. All zombie enemies poison when hitting you. Poison does 1 per second for 30 seconds getting hit again by zombie types reset the cooldown..

64. Shimmer slimes shimmer you.

65. Shimmer invisible enemies has increased damage against you. ( invisibility Stealth damage increase.)

66. Red devils have inferno potion aura.

67. Bone serpent is 3x bigger have over 10k health per segment and when breaking has bone hand perk of splintering shards everywhere. Now drops bone 50 minimum cause why not. (Probably drops them post skeletron to prevent a fresh spawn going to underworld and making spinal tap whip at start of the game.)

68. Spiders now drop cobwebs as well.

69. All Martian event enemies except space ship can apply a lesser gravity potion effect on you turing players upside down and raising then 5 blocks up disabling mounts and wings. Has a 15% chance at most of applying and can be countered by having gravity potion in.

70. All enemies that can teleport if not attacked example imps, diabloist, dark casters, goblin sorcerer, etc will now always teleport after taking damage 5 times to reposition themselves. (Strike fast strike hard.)

71. All slime during slime rain agro regardless if you have royal jelly in slot and pour down faster with a limit of 50 slimes on screen with size variety between 0.3x and 2.5x size.

72. Giant Flying fox also applies rabies and bleeding. The bleeding does damage overtime if your moving.

73. Derplings like to occasionally stop pursuing players to dance in place raving while always spawning in groups of 3 while doing so they jump 1 block high turning left then right back left and then right. This has a water candle effect on players drawing more enemies to the rave. (Haha)

74. Dripplers break into 1-3 demon eyes when killed flying backwards from play at spawn to avoid unfair deaths.

[A FEW BOSS MODIFIERS IDEAS]

1. Golem can summon weak mini golems to harass players. As well as repair lizards that players must kill. Golem eye lazers still pierce blocks but each block it passes through it explodes a max of 5 times to help prevent Fram rates from decreasing. Golem stomp sends a shock wave along the floor only 20 block in each direction.

2.King slime has slime Mount properties including bouncing off players heads after teleport (massive damage) and faster fall speed. His minions shoot gel themed throwing knives and ninja stars. It's king crown release a minor damaging red burst wave pushing players away.

3. Eye of Chathulu does shield dash deflecting attacks and smashing players traveling left to right then right to left before doing normal zig zag dash x2 while send players reeling. All chathulus servants do this as well. Chathulu can eat its servants to heal 2% per servant. If its health returns above phase 2 it does not revert but stays in phase 2.

4. Eater of world breaks into even more worms that are relentless. The head can inflict cursed fire for 2 seconds with armor break for 15 seconds. Spawns world feeders in hard mode and devourers in normal mode during boss fight. Eater of world leaves cursed fire where it's head enters ground and exits the ground. Tossing debris upon resurfacing acting similar to silt damaging players.

5. Brain of chathulu disables lock on map features and can disable player buffs. Furthermore Creepers from brain on chathulu now has a miniscule chance of dropping items for the ank shield since they inflict all status effects. Like dropping band-aid and megaphone etc. (This is fine because most enemies will 2 or 3 shot you so being immune to the status is a niche thing.)

6. Queen bee oozes honey blood when under 40%. Flooding the arena if players take to long.

7. Wall of flesh has bats living inside it that fly out of its mouth as well as the imp army and can regrow all hungry cords. While traveling faster. The mouth has its own health pool and can be destroyed.

8. Duke fishron is affected by the center poison ocean biome mentioned below in world edits number 3 and now inflict either poison or envenomed.

9. Queen slime is A LOST CAUSE. Here we go ... Queen slime minions now fire crystal shard spell tome at players traveling 35 blocks before falling off. Queen slimes butt slam attack leaves a rainbow from top to bottom essentially a wall like clinger staff. Queen slime now dashes repeatedly in first stage to keep up with player. Queen slime now drops bouncy crystal boulders while in flight mode that explode into crystal spell tome. Queen slime can summon a crystal slime turret to shoot players. Queen slime can now dash in flight mode. Queen slime while in flight mode after butt slamming now teleports back to player already flying dropping bouncy crystal boulders. At 50% queen slime summons Chaos elementals that are riding on unicorns wielding Lance's ( Queen slimes calvary.) that can use teleport on themselves mount included while killing mount destroys the unicorn first leaving behind the elemental. 5 mounts from queen slime follow her in battle around 30% health circling her taking ranged attacks for her increasing her defense similar to skeletron hands and must be killed to continue damaging her. Queen slime boss armor ( crystal assassin) now has brain of chathulu dodge chance and after dodging release crystal shard blast around the player in a ring pushing away enimes while it's total armor is increased from 36 to 55 slightly higher then titanium. Queen slime can now drop dev vanities from boss bags to compensate the increased difficulty. All 3 mechanical boss must be killed to summon Queen slime. Queen slime now enrages if you leave hallow.( Limiting your fighting arena.) Queen slime and her calvary can drop rod of discord at a average rate making her worth farming for money pre-plantera dodge gear and discord rod. [Wow that's alot.]

10. Lunatic cultist starts combat with its dragon and can us the pillar items now changing color to match the weapon of choice. If red the dragon is replaced with boss crawlepede.

11. All bosses can spawn with various sizes preferably bigger to intimidate players.

12. Deerclopse summons a blizzard that has the properties of a increased sandstorm needing walls placed and a arena to fight it properly.

13. Planteras spiky ball bouncers now stick to the last block of there bounce cycle Turning into turrets that shoot vile thorns towards the player clipping through blocks that inflict minimal damage but tangle players slowing them down. Whenever plantera moves she leaves spikes on back ground walls.

14. Skeletron and the player is immune to damage for 10 seconds upon spawn allowing player to remove the rng of that spawn damage hitting them or not. Skeletron can open his mouth to shoot the fire skull spell that slowly follows the player up to 15 skulls can be present at once. Armless Skeleton after head spin will launch 5 dungeon flame wheel that encircle player arenas for 20 seconds outlining it. Armed Skeleton will cover face with hands while spinning rocketing its limbs towards player golem fist style after head spin. One hand can plant into ground or platforms opening portal that spawns angry bones.

22. At world generation you can select a modifier that let's your change various stats that permanent after generation. [Example] all non boss enemies have 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x health but there damage remains the same for more custom world creation or 2x, 3x 5x, or 10x, damage. Etc.

23. Falling stars now splash damage in a 3 by 3 radius.

24. Falling stars now have a chance to act like bouncy boulders upon hitting the ground in evil biomes including there splash damage radius going to 5 by 5 tiles in each direction.

25. Stone block can be brittle similar to desert fossil breaking in sections without giving anything unless proper pickaxe power or bombs are used. (Better tools for better results.)

26. Thin ice now spawns on surface snow biomes water.

27. Thorns in biomes now always do 10 damage regardless of your armor.

28. Falling from great heights into water still applies fall damage.

29. All enemies of the respective biomes can drop there corresponding boss summoner. Example surface enemies can drop eye of chathulu, corruption can drop worm food, crimson can drop bloody spine, jungle can drop queen bee, snow biomdeer clips, hallow the twins since souls of light are needed, etc. Except voodoo doll, prism wing, queen slime, and other things that have a clear drop location.

30. Stalactites can damage players jumping into them.

If I think of more I'll retype and organize this.
This took forever to type on phone and reread.
These idea's are to late I know but still at least it's here. I doubt anyone on Re-logic will read this wall of text but to others thanks for reading.
 
Honestly, with all the ideas for seed combinations, I think it would be just as fun if the opposite was implemented: I think it would be a very good thing for there to be ways to only have "Seed Genes," which would be seeds where only one specific part of said seed would spawn in. For example, maybe you'd want to play a Terraria game with a hunger system, but don't want the graphics change or the surface spider caves that come with The Constant Seed.

Mayhaps you simply want the chance to encounter Golden Slimes but not the coastal spawn of the Celebration Seed?

Have you ever wanted to load into a world that has both world evils, all ore types, and smashing Demon Altars brings about all six hard mode ores into the world? And not all of the extra baggage that is... whichever seed it is because I honestly don't remember.

I liked the idea of a vampire seed, I would like something similar but in a water style, so that the character breathes water. Let's say we add more water to the world generation, Rain strengthens the player, and all weapons related to water are stronger. In general, you can come up with a lot of things, but it’s unlikely that anyone will read it, so what’s the difference hehe

We need a Gravity Monolith

How about the Gravity Monolith thrown by Moon Lord instead of his Gravity Globe. Manipulating the gravity around the monolith would be a lot of fun, for connecting wires, trolling friends, and also for creating maps.

As you all might know by now, we are adding a new special seed selection menu that will allow you to combine the special seeds of your choosing.

Along with this change, we will be introducing special effects when you make specific combinations. We already have quite a few in-game, but now I want to hear from you! What are your best ideas for what these combined effects could be? A small example of what we have done so far is combining "The Constant" with "Celebrationmk10," which will start the player out in the center of the world again, while retaining most of the effects from "Celebrationmk10."

I'm looking specifically for changes to world generation and in-game mechanical changes, not extravagant additions like new bosses or overly complicated new items.

Combining Celebrationmk10 with the Drunk world could spawn you on either side of the world by the ocean with the Crimson and Corruption in the middle of the world back to back spreading outward. And mabye adding an item like the encumbersome stone that makes it so you can only pick up coins?
