So I made a small world today with a random evil...

Frookey

Plantera
I wanted to start an Expert world to get some of the Expert-exclusive items. When I spawned in, I went to the right from spawn and found the Crimson inside a snow biome. I found the first chasm and kept going across the surface, until I reached the end of the Crimson. But I had only found one chasm. I went back to it and realised that there were two tunnels intertwining:

Both of the chasms in the biome had spawned on top of each other. Has anyone else seen something like this before?

Crimson gen has always been funky, I wonder what the algorithms are

Yes. I almost always make Crimson. Crimson comes in all sorts of variations. Sometimes the entrances can be buried. My personal favorite is when two generate close by and are only connected by a tunnel.

Having two tunnels isn't rare, but I'd say two-tunnels one-chasm is uncommon. Hehehe.

Update: I should've added this when I first posted the thread, but here's an image of the combined entrances to the chasm.

It kinda looks like one is on top of the other to me

on 3ds I had my hallow spawn on top of the corruption so I hardly had a corruption anymore

my hallow filled up the whole crimson
(the whole champ)
