i have no better idea than buying it from travelling merchant and it could be used in cell phone crafting
i know that you can check using wizard but its annoing

It is kind of annoying not to know if you have accidentally killed a ladybug or touched one.

I also find it annoying that I never know if I've used the torches correctly or if there is something misplaced.

Also, when is my gnome in range?!

All of this, plus more, is why I support such an item.
 
I do think luck needs to be made a little bit less obtuse, but I don't think a direct display of your luck value is the way to go. If they did add an indicator, I'd like it to still be a little vague. Maybe a shamrock icon that looks different based on your luck (more vibrant/healthy the higher your luck is)?
 
This is the kind of item that Wizard could sell. By the way, some of his phrases are already dusplays your luck.

It wasn't written at the time of my comment, the author edited the post.
Also, I agree with the suggestion, not saying anything against it, I just wrote a small fact, which is also an additional reason for this item to be sold by a Wizard and not a Wandering Merchant.
