I definitely want the plushies.
Also, that Night's Edge as everyone has been saying.
That Night's Edge.

Maybe there'll be an Excalibur...
Did somebody say.... Excalibur?

I do not like these at all, personally. I wish that they had made minifigures like Spelunky Minis, they are amazing
Signed. I just googled those Spelunky Minis and I'd love to see Terraria characters fashioned similar to that. If they do a proper paint job on them then I'd be nerdy enough to buy them all. :naughty:

Are the toys available in other countries? Like the philippines?

If that was added into the game then the night's edge toy would sell!
Just put: "Night's Edge?" On the packaging and BOOM! twice as many buyers.
You are a genius!

To give my own feedback; the figures need some rework, making them smooth instead of blocky (Because the game sprites aren't blocky, they are retro), and the sword redone with the actual ingame model. The plushies are okay :D dat bunny, dat eye of cthulhu!

As a person who owns both Minecraft and Terraria, I'd like for the Terraria toys to stay as far away as possible from the Minecraft toys' design.

And I second the suggestion of a set of different slime plushes of different sizes and colors! All round, and cute, and squishy, because they're slimes. They are one of the symbols of Terraria, as simple as they are. I'd totally buy them.

Oh wait you sprited how the Excalibur would looks if they made it.. I thought you posted a revamped version of the Excalibur

As for the Spelunky toys, I was thinking something similar for the Terraria toys. Little round head, short-ish torso, and short legs. As well as arms that are slightly longer than the torso with flat out sphere hands with little holes in them to hold things. I still think it would be a good design that fits for Terraria figures.

Jaz provided some better images (the ones I had to start were very washed out color-wise), so I swapped them all out. I now realize that will break all of the later-linked images. Mea culpa there, folks. :( But hey, at least the images are nicer now...and PNGs. :)

The plan has been for this to be the beginning of a broader expansion of the Terraria franchise - that could mean more toys, and potentially other areas (we know that a more stable clothing experience has been a consistent ask, for example). So, ideas for other things you would like to see - on top of the good/bad/ugly of what we have so far - are also valuable for us to have.

Thanks!

Night's edge?

Talk about a...

Broken Hero's Sword.

Anyways, I would LOVE to build a Destroyer or a Skeletron Prime with Legos. Although Lego would probably say, "It competes with our Minecraft set!" "But... this:

It literally says to also try that ga-" "Shut up with your facts! We won't make it!"

Eoc stage 2. probably gonna remove all the cotton and use it as a halloween costume.

Minecraft Lego wasn't even good, so I don't know if Lego could make a good Terraria Lego..

I'd definitely buy an item of clothing if it had a quote linked to Terraria which is humorous for those that understand it and very subtle to those who don't. That's kind of a hard thing to ask for, though, can't give any examples.

Graphical images of Terraria on clothing is a different story. Maybe if it was high-definition and looks nice for those that know and don't know Terraria (much like the calender artwork, namely Turtle dude vs Plantera) I'd consider it.

That is also assuming I'm ever going to have money I can spend on luxuries any time soon.

A King Slime hat. With a little crown on it... maybe a Redigit Green hat too!

Certainly more plushes, they are the most popular of the bunch of items. Like Eater of Souls or a Giant Cave Bat or something

And as for more Terraria figures. After a possible improvement in the design (Still going for mine XD), some more NPCs and maybe more enemies.

With the better images, it's a bit more clear what they look like... clearly. And as for the Gold Armor again, I don't really see the wings on the sides. I can see it has some slight angles on it, but it's still very cubic. And the slapped on shading looks really weird.

A bit more put into the shading pixels to not really make them stand out, a less realistic face, and smoothing it out to make it rounded are the best ways to go with them in my opinion.

The plush look good. I think the Witch Doctor, Skeleton, and Goblin Tinkerer are decent. All the accessories in the figures are fantastic.

I've been waiting so long for this and will most likely buy much of it because I want to support a great group of people and a game that I would take to a desert island. These people do listen to our feedback, it's obviously known how much involvement they have with the community. It's refreshing. If you're going to just bash the stuff without some sort of constructive criticism about the products...don't.

Having said that, the company that makes the toys is the same company that makes the Minecraft stuff. ALL of the Minecraft stuff is spot on. I'm not sure who made the decisions to base the designs more off the animated series (kind of looks like that was the direction) than the game. The game is the foundation and I would have loved to see that translate to the figures. Perhaps the worry was that they'd mirror the Minecraft products too much. No doubt our feedback is being heard and hopefully series 2 changes things up a bit. Just hoping that since it's a series (how Jazwares usually does things) that series 2 will be more towards how the characters look in the game.

There is so much content in this game that future products could almost be endless. The future is bright for this game and the sequel. Keep it up.

First I have to say, I love the plush toys, and would definitely buy them, I have to say that the toys are reasonably priced so I am very happy about that.

Now on to the action figures:

My problem with action figures is they look just like Minecraft, honestly the first thing I thought when I say them is wow I cant believe they look like Minecraft!
So they are not necessarily bad, but I think it is a branding issue.

Also I think the "lego" like figures are good since it is a game about building, but I think these toys are geared for ages 6 - 10.

I am 29 and want more collectible toys, I am not sure of the age ranges that play Terraria but I got hooked becuase it reminded my of Final Fantasy. Your game has such beautiful 2D pixel art, I really hope you come out with toys that reflect that art.

So in short,

1. Plush Toys = Awesome!

2. The art for the action figures are too close to minecraft, people will definitely be confused if the see the toy and not the packaging.

3. The toys are great for kids but not for collectors

4. Please Please Please... make the toys closer to the in game art, It is so awesome that I wish you made official posters and collector figurines that reflected it.

Oh also Congratulations on selling merchandise, that is a big step for your company, and shows just how successful you guys are!
