I love how terraria lets their community be such a big peice of the community. I am wandering eye fish, i love the design of this charecter. I have been using (not stealing) this charecter in my profiles for over a year now. I hope everyone has fun with the new update

if we're getting a vampire transformation, would it be possible to get a bat mount/transformation as well? I know there's a bat pet on mobile, but it's not on PC or consoles as far as I'm aware, and the summoner staff that makes bats is actually really weak, so it'd be really nice to have an item that really shows bats some love that could be used the whole game other than the bat hook/wings! I'd even be willing to use one of those items to craft it if it came to it

It is the final final final final final final final final final final final final final final update as always

It also is here
Also, rip everything everyone has done for Terraria once the "sequel" or whatever releases... Updates >> Sequels for games like this one

Hopefully my PC is strong enough for the sequel. I don't think that PCs ever go to the gym..................

The main (and better) marketing strategy of Terraria are the good devs, low pc requirements, low disk space usage, A+ price/performance ratio and vivid interactions with the community.

Idea: achievements for different modes, for example, I wanted to get my achievements in classic mode, but ended up accidentally getting some achievements in journey, so it would be so helpful to have achievements for journey mode and classic. I would like to so that in the game.

I wouldn't. Then I would have to do 200 fishing quests on Normal.

Hey! Had a few thoughts for some stuff that I think would be really cool to have in the game so I figured I'd post them here

- Acorns should be placeable on destructible rocks. Obviously not a huge deal but it can be a bit annoying when placing acorns using the smart cursor, and torches already work this way anyways.

- An item that toggles the effect of towns. On a recent playthrough of mine I set up a pylon system with towns across the map, and when hardmode came I wanted to get some light shards in the Hollowed Desert biome. However, since I had a town set up there, no light mummies were spawning. If there was an item that could turn off the effects of a town, then you could move in as many NPCs as you want into a biome without worrying about the reduced spawn rate.

- Increase the spawn rate of Voodoo Demons, Plantera Bulbs, Truffle Worms, and Prismatic Lacewings. I feel more strongly about the first two, since those are required bosses for progression and I've spent the most time waiting for those to spawn. I pretty much never fight Wall of Flesh multiple times because it can take so long for a Voodoo Demon to spawn. I do understand that these should all be rare spawns so new players are curious about them and a water candle does help, but waiting for stuff to spawn for boss fights is the least enjoyable part of a Terarria playthrough for me.

- An item that lets you change it from day to night and vice versa. I understand that this is really strong, but the enchanted sundial working only once a week feels really underpowered. This item would be really helpful for skipping solar eclipses when its loot is already obtained, getting into the time range for prismatic lacewings to spawn and for EoL fights, and for giving endgame characters a sense of power and freedom.

shadow candle exists to ignore npc spawn reduction

Maybe make it so that you can craft an improved sundial with enchanted sundial and enchanted moondial at the ancient manipulator.
