Dark nods...to nothing in particular in acknowledgement. Probably more for formality's sake? The outburst of Coral seems to be timed wrong, a huge burst coming up diagonally from Dark's back, shooting him towards the ground pretty rapidly before the Coral fizzles out.
Avari sighs audibly.
"{Again.}"
Dark gets up, readying himself, waiting for the familiar feeling of warmth...
...And once it comes, he times it virtually perfectly. Probably a fluke, but not bad for a second try, using the burst of coral to send himself towards a tree. He learns quickly.

Draucon curses softly, annoyed.Due to their delay, Lightning would push past them to enter behind Sarah, stopping just next to the door where she is out of the way to also somewhat take in the room, looking around for anything of note and scanning for any threats. (D20: 11)
<Rude.>
Draucon follows as well, visibly miffed. And the lady is equally cautious while looking at Sarah, backing up slightly as she approaches.
The corpse is wearing a black shirt of some sort, much of it torn except for a bit across one shoulder and the stomach, their long pants bearing several gashes and scrapes as well.
Seraph just takes a few steps back, raising his hands defensively.
The cabin seems simple, one medium sized, low ceiling room with a fireplace and chimney on the left wall, two chairs and a in the rough middle of the room, a little tub of water and a ruined mirror in the back right, next to a small closet of sorts, a rough countertop with some rusted and old tools on the right wall, and a dirty old bed in the back.
Father Garundel enters behind Lightning, a bit annoyed at being shoved around.
"...Enemy, I presume."After a few moments, the feline-featured woman clears her throat, looking into the dimly lit closet where the corpse was tossed.
"That your friend?"
Garundel speaks up.
"Depends, can you pull them out so we can all see?"
The woman stands in silence for a moment before going over to the person's legs, grabbing them by the boots and dragging them out into the dim, natural light of the cabin.
It's the Iudex, one arm still missing, still worn from battle, and with a crossbow bolt firmly lodged through the front of his head, his eyes open and crossed upwards.
"... No. That isn't a friend."
"Yep."
Sarah crosses her arms. "...well, we've confirmed he's dead then."
Sarah turns around, meeting Garundel in the eye...scars.
"...So what now?"
...She's taken slightly aback by the lack of eyes, but other than a flicker of surprise on her face, she doesn't react much.
Eve, meanwhile, nervously heads in to sort of stick near Draucon; more hiding behind him, but still.
