Standalone [1.4.0.5] Terraria Leveled RPG mod

Yeah, not coming for a few months. He got some of the system down, but it's still far from being complete.

There could be a slight chance that work can be massively be done in December, but anything can happen.

Hello. Can i ask if theres a way to play this mod while using Tmodloader , i want to make epic modpack :)

No this Mod is StandAlone and is not anything that can be put into Tmodloader....not yet at least. plus if your adding other mods into it that would make things complicated because everything is modified all the way down to all the stats of weapons. and how would modded weapons work with Leveled. We would have to mod there stats too.

Is there any way we could have a version of the mod that includes an enemy heath percentage modifier? Because as much as i love the challenge, some of the bosses have huge amounts of health and is neigh impossible to beat them.

I thought I was just terrible at the game. I can't even beat the mechanical bosses with all good buffs and the best armor and weapons attainable without blind luck.

It took me untill about LV 50 to beat Skeletron with the best pre-hardmode armor, then the dungeon it's self is LV27.

from my experiences, you needing Lv50 just sounds like your play-style may or may not be a bit too... aggressive, or you might not be fighting the bosses correctly. cause on my current character, he's Lv29, ranged combat oriented, i've taken down the eye, brain, the eater of worlds as well. goblin army and queen bee. my next plan is skeletron, which shouldn't be too hard since, in my opinion, queen bee is harder.

you might just want to figure out a plan before fighting, cause there are certain things you can't just run into face first and expect to win...

Oh at LV 25 I had no trouble with the eye of Cathulu. I build some platforms and tries to keep my distance while using full molten armour and a fully upgraded Minishark with all the perks that increased range along with all accessories with the instinctive forge. The best i got to with skeletron at that level was about 1/4 heath before he killed me. Baring in mind on vanilla i have zero trouble with expert mode bosses.

Either way, an enemy heath percentage slider would be a cool feature.

Can you explain how the STAT Points work? I don't know if my game's glitched or if I'm only allowed a few STAT Points.

well heres how it works...stat points are increased depending on what is gonna be your primary stat when you first made your char...are you familier with the "Balanced" "Magic" and other selections?....
[doublepost=1477678473,1477678342][/doublepost]oh and for those asking when theres gonna be a update. The Project has been put on Hold for a while. Gotest having RL things to deal with and so forth.

Alright everyone, I'm back, and I'm really sorry lol.
Some progress has been made on the new system since my last post, but balance is still an issue and I've come to a hard decision to make, and I'm asking the community for an opinion.
So the way AP is gained has been changed to where you need to "Level up" your stats to certain levels to get boosts in AP. But now I'm on a debate weather I should set it to were you get +1 AP for every stat that's been leveled up, or keep it the same way what it is now.

Sorry for the short message, I gotta head out here in a bit. But I'll be back.
dunno if it's been pointed out yet but, the low health sound is always a bit too quiet, aren't low HP warnings usually loud? is there anyway i can up the volume of it, and ONLY that sound, cause boosting overall sounds from the main menu sorta doesn't work.
Sorry about missing this post. Yeah, I have the Low HP sounds on a very low volume because I thought they were invasive, since they are normally VERY loud. I can try to add a slider for it though.

Would there be a way for us to have like a beta version so we can see which one works best?

A beta version at the moment, likely wont happen due to how much is missing from the mod. Right now, all I have is the stat engine in. There's no EXP gain from anything other than killing enemies, which has made leveling VERY slow early on. There's also no implementation of stats in enemy projectiles, or any fixes in dynamic stats, such as EoC switching to phase 2, so it's stats go to 27 ATK, and 0 DEF at phase 2. Also, the mod is at 1.3.1.1 right now as well. I still need to port over. I'll likely do it for 1.3.4.

But, if the demand is high enough, I'll think about a beta. But i'm afraid if i do that I won't release another version.

I can always stop with my games, and do more testing! And work here is infrequent during winter, so I got lots of time (until a random call to go up north happens)
