PS4 menu slowing down severely

Alright guys, last night I downloaded Terraria: PS4 Edition, and played it for a bit. Woke up this morning to the game menu slowing down severely and freezing. I can still press the PS button and return to the console menu, but the ingame menu slows down.
What is going on?

Did you leave it running overnight?
