The Mechs were part of the Flumpty Gatekeeper gimmick, and a bunch of people were able to get them right at the start. Most of them are dead or anime now, and those that remain will go bye-bye as soon as Flumpty bites it.

Basically they're what you would expect mechsuits to be, an additional layer of armor and power on top of another entity (or a player).

Yes and No.

But! Taking from the stocking is an ACTUALLY free action, as opposed to a standard one, meaning you can do it in your first post in addition to your action there.

Alright, it's not nearly that complicated.

Depending on whether you want to join 0rigins or Terraria, you either
In 0rigins: Don't start out with any gear, but that's okay because you don't need any.
In Terraria: Need some semblance of gear, and have a way to make yourself a set of basic gear immediately for free.

But in both games there's not really such thing as "build" or "layout". You just sorta start by jumping in, setting up your charges so they run in the background (I'd explain charges but I always make a mess of it so I'm gonna ask someone else to do that particular bit) and hitting/healing things as you see fit.
Charges aren't required to play the game, in fact, your primary source of damage will actually usually come from your standard action you get every post. Charges are just for that sweet, sweet burst damage and to get a higher chance at succeeding in other endeavours like summoning creatures/items or changing the weather/terrain.


TLDR; you can just jump in the game, and start hitting things, people will explain anything you don't understand, and after a couple of rounds you'll get into the flow of things.

Quick [GS] question: is Zerisek in a mech, and can I heal/repair him/it? He looks so overwhelmingly powerful that healing seems kind of OP.

Also for [GS], I'm about to have more than a few kilotons of TNT worth of energy left over from an upcoming attack that I think someone else could put to more clever/subplot related uses. Any takers?

Zerisek's not in a mech, but yes, you can heal him. And such would actually be greatly appreciated. The first (and probably only) player-summoned AND aligned boss in the game.
