What do you think Terraria edibles taste like, and which tastes the best?

Gel is kind of mysterious. The only two things I can think of that are A) liquid B) edible and C) flammable are oil and alcohol. You can't eat to to get Tipsy, which seems to rule out the later. So you'd think it was some kind of oil-based compound. (Use in asphalt also supports this) But somehow I have a hard time reconciling this with it being tasty... and blue. But maybe it's some kind of weird carbohydrate solution, in which case it's probably sweet.

I feel like pink ice would taste like cotten candy ice cream that's been in the freezer for a while.
And fried pixie would taste like fat and rainbows.

I am a vegetarian but I wonder if I would like Terrarian meat... Fried pixie could be real good.
