Hello there, question about plants.

I'm a relatively new to Terarria so I'm still learning tricks about the game.

But...

I collected few herbs and seeds from the various chests across the map. What to do with them? I assume you plant them somehow but I dont know how?

There are planter boxes as well as pots or you could just use dirt/grass blocks though there are certain requirements for different seeds. You use the herbs mainly for crafting different potions.
