Official Beta Testers Applications

The NDA is not to ever be taken lightly, there are a lot of things it covers that you probably wouldn't even think of. I advise any accepted testers to ask the team in-depth about this. Even I have slightly tripped up on it in the past, to my eternal shame.

I can 100% confirm this, Deva is still shamed about it every day on the hour.

Seriously though, the NDA is no joke and I would recommend reading it in full a couple of times before signing it to any that get that far.

I plan on very carefully analyzing it in the event I get accepted to be a Tester. As I understand why it is important that Testers keep unreleased Content secret from the General Public as well as their Friends and Family. I can ask Staff Members about it through PMs here if there are parts in it that aren't clear?

Even considering potential unclear parts of the NDA I think I'll be able to follow it very well considering that I completely keep secrets when it is required of me to do so even from close members of my family. And even if someone doesn't directly say or make clear that they want something secret, if they give off an implication that they want something to stay secret I will keep it secret for them. I trust people with my own secrets that I want to stay secret and in exchange want to be someone who can be trusted as well.

I would say if you have questions to contact Loki, Cenx, Safeman, or D-Town. They are the 4 that would best be able to help you.

Would this be Jira? And would be get a login/the full version?

And would the NDA be sent to in the case that we are accepted?

Playing for over 140 hours and still not getting to hard mode with my girlfriend who hates to know anything about a game before she experiences it for herself has pretty much tempered me to keep my trap entirely shut when it comes to anything someone might not know. Then again, I hardly talk about Terraria on the forums anyways. Mostly i just heckle people.

A little question:
  • Willing to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to sign this legal form on your behalf.

This seems really serious, so, if one is choose as a tester but feel not able to fulfill the NDA, is it OK to refuse so, give up and ask the team choose another one?

Be incredibly knowledgeable of Terraria and the game mechanics and have a significant amount of time played
This looks difficult, at lease for me, there is still much game mechanism not known for me.

OMG i want to be a beta tester but im not old enough. when i saw the tread i was thinking "OMG! FINALLY! I WANT TO TRY OUT ALL DA GOODIES!". i already was a beta tester for the mobile game badland does that count?

I'd apply, but 1. I don't have internet, 2. I'm not 16, and 3. I wouldn't have the time for it.

Excuse me while I cry in the corner. ;(
