Sprites The River (Alternate Underworld)

Ok, i have another question: how can i install this and where?

A suggestion is a a thing that *could* be added to the game. A mod is a thing you can install to enhance the game you're playing. This is the former of the two.
 
I don't know transfer for word "suggestion", because EVERY translating sites give me word "sentence" (on russian - предложение), thats why i typed stupid question.

Only now I understood my mistake about question... (why am i so stupid)

Proposal, Idea, Recommendation, Proposition

Do any of those translate?

I really like the idea of replacing some biomes to new ones. Also, if this would be added, then another thing should be added - like a third alternate biome, because Underworld set is melee, this mage, then what about ranged? But still, 101% support! :D
 
I like the river, but I only got one issue with it TBH. The drops of the Ferryman should probably be the same as the drops from the Wall of Flesh. More specifically the Breaker's Blade, Clockwork Assault Rifle, and Laser Rifle.

Why?

Other than being able to obtain said weapons, the alts as a suggestion make just as much sense to be dropped.

Honestly, when the River sees it's update, a lot of items will probably be changing further to be more in-line with an alt, and less something that resembles the current Underworld. I'm afraid this alt will be going in a direction you're not going to be comfortable with :dryadsad:

I am just saying besides the Death Penalty, the Underworld counter parts seem more powerful.

Also the Ethereal armor probably shouldn't be a magic set. With the underworld in place we already got enough of them (Jungle, Meteorite, and Gem Robes), and you want to add more? Also because it will replace Hellstone, it would take away from the Melee class bringing their sets of armor down to two, and you can't even get both in one world (Demonite, and Crimtane). I think the Ethereal armor should be a Melee Class like its counterpart. Otherwise the melee class will not be viable in half of the worlds prior to hardmode much like how the summoner class already is.

Balance is something to be handled by the devs. Assuming they were to ever implement the change at all. You might also be having trouble imagining these weapons' power for 2 reasons. 1. they don't exists/you can't actually use them and gauge their strength. 2. most of their power (on paper) has been relegated to their additional effects.

I know you can't read every post; the thread is already 17 pages -- but this was sort of covered.

We're forgetting all of the ore, wood, and misc armor sets. This is NOT a balance thread though and given the scope and imbalance of the core game -- additional or lacking [dmg type] armors pre-hardmode don't pan out in importance in the grand scheme. Not that I am limited by anything for my suggestions anyways, as they are just that -- suggestions. Accounting for that, Ethereal Armor is fine. It's my suggestion, it fits thematically with the proposal, and it doesn't imbalance the game by it's own existence at the expense of Molten. I am not going to argue this. If you feel melee, ranged, or summoner armor requires a set at the time of Underworld progression, or that pre-hardmode requires a rebalance in armor availability and quantity -- you are welcome to make your own suggestion(s) for it.

Would there be any way for me to get this in my game as of now? i would love to see this in working action with guides being thrown at me by a giant ferryman.

Thanks for the thought -- but no; I'm not giving permission for my alternates to be used in mods.

Maybe when all of them are done and completed -- but at this time, I'd rather them remain suggestions.

16 alternates available, so....if they're all done, they could be put in a mod? Isnt that.....a little strong???

Every biome could be alternates and possibly no original biomes?
