Haha, I just noticed the 'deadly spheres' from Phantasm.
I have that movie. I wonder how they will look in game. . . . .
 
Does anyone remember the portal gun spoiler from months ago? Was that in a tweet or something? I can not for the life of me find the source, and I haven't heard anything about it since. I hope it wasn't cut, that has always been my most anticipated 1.3 item.
 
Makes me wonder what AI types will those new solar eclipse mobs will use. For now Frankenstein and Swamp Thing are quite boring. Faster, tougher, hit harder, but they're basically zombies.

I'm assuming their AI will be based off their actions and behaviour in their respectful movies. Otherwise it'd be a little awkward to have The Deadly Spheres roll around on the floor singing along to Lady Gaga.

The sequel isn't to expand on the story, not that I believe anyways, but to get rid of some of Terraria's limits, such as making an infinite world.

I honestly am really hoping for a new buyable chest from the merchant for people who go into the hard hard mode. not to mention the cross world link. we have a piggy bank and a mini safe, what other thing could one have, a mini fridge? personal keg? I have my uber valuables chest, my pet chest, that last one would make a great backup armory
 
Eh dunno.

I think a labyrinthine level beneath the Underworld would be the most befitting place for our hero to finish what was begun, to find the demonic source of all evil in the world (the Guide in a tuxedo), a battle of epic proportions never before seen by the likes of men.

Of course, apparently there is a coding limitation on the sizes of worlds so I'm not really expecting it to be there in 1.3.

Wow. Sounds pretty amazing. Anyway, there'll probably be a new Underground Snow mini-biome, considering how extremely lacking it is. I mean, it's one of the only themed underground biomes, and it has barely any content.

(Should make a thread about that...)
 
So I just realized...
A spoiler thread by Cenx posted on October 7th was announcing the 3,000th item: the alchemy table. It's been almost five months since then. How many more items have been added since then?

I've heard the reason 1.2 was so filled with items (I believe they celebrated 1,000 items by adding the party popper) was alternate ores and the crimson. A second set of armor and tools for 8 ores, along with all crimson content and chlorophyte stuff adds up quick. So I wonder if we could be getting new alternates, if not biomes then ores. But man, 3,000 items four and a half months ago...

Yo! So i'm sort of starting anew on the TCF. I actually used to be on Terraria Online under the alias "L0chlan2" but since then my username has had some changes. So yah. Funny how I recognise a lot of users from the old forum but here's me at square one hehe :guidesmile:
