Standalone [1.3] tModLoader - A Modding API

@bluemagic123 , you might wanna do a hotfix for the patch because the modbrowser to update all the mods is freezing the game up.

My friend is using a Linux comp and can't find the location of his mods, there is one mod called "creative mode" apparently, and it keeps crashing his game after it finishes loading code.

when will the mod browser come to mac?

Creative mode was my mod and has been out of duty for nearly forever, delete the tmod file in Mod Sources/Mods
You can find the locations in my help thread

So guys, after the Tmodloader update, I keep getting the following error when I try to load my large world.

Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.
at System.IO.BinaryReader.FillBuffer(Int32 numBytes)
at System.IO.BinaryReader.ReadUInt16()
at Terraria.ModLoader.IO.ItemIO.GetCustomData(Int32 type, BinaryReader reader, Boolean hasGlobalSaving)
at Terraria.ModLoader.Default.MysteryItem.LoadCustomData(BinaryReader reader)
at Terraria.ModLoader.IO.ItemIO.ReadCustomData(Item item, Byte[] data, Boolean hasGlobalSaving)

I can load the the backup fine but seemingly the proper world itself won't load.

I made terraria crash, can you fix it?
If it can help, i'll explain the situation: in hell i filled up buckets by lava, empty buckets were in different stacks and all were locked in inventory (Alt); when i filled 2nd bucket (lava bucket were stacked),i chose bucket and clicked on lava, after that clicked some times, then all things are lost from my cursor and i cannot use any item anymore or even drag it; Then i quit from the game, and when i start it again i had that crash window:

OMG!!!! A sword shrine spawned at the bottom of a living tree! It was a real sword too!

i think i have to many mods. when i open the game it wont get past loading them. ;-;

I just installed the newest version and everything is up to date. Problem is, every time I open the Mod Browser, my game just freezes. If I hit "Try to restore" it just brings up a blank screen. Does anyone know the solution to this? I know I can just download them directly, but sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes just to install one tiny mod.

hi guys i just have a question in 1.3.3.3 tmodloader's mod browser whenever i click on it the game goes not responding is that just because it just updated and people are updating there mods and uploading them to it and it will just work after awhile or do i have to do anything in particular to get to the mod browser

Why when i click on the mod browser the game crashes?
Same thing
The mod browser isn't very stable, and usually goes through high traffic which crashes people's games. What you can do is either download the mod from a direct download link the author provided or just wait until the traffic is less and you can use mod browser again.
when will the mod browser come to mac?
Who knows, but you can use http://javid.ddns.net/tModLoader/DirectModDownloadListing.php . It's like an online mod browser although it lacks many features.

I really want to use the Mod Loader, but it wont work :I. I have tried three different ways of installing the loader and to no prevail... I would run the Loader and everything would be fine, I'd watch it in Task manager and it is using Ram and everything, but after like 20 seconds it just disappears... Any help or tips?

So I remember reading somewhere that you can transfer your NORMAL Terraria worlds into your MODDED Terraria worlds and vice versa, how do you do that?!

Moving your characters from vanilla to TML is very easy. Go to your Terraria/Players directory and copy the .plr files to the Terraria/ModLoader/Players directory.

Theoretically, you can also move your TML players back to vanilla, but I'm not sure if this is officially supported and you definitely will not keep any modded content. If you wish to try it, go to the Terraria/ModLoader/Players directory and copy the .plr file to your Terraria/Players directory. As I understand it, all the modded information is stored in the .tplr files, so the .plr theoretically should (note **theoretically should**) still work if you copy it to vanilla.

Forgive the double post, but this is important enough to warrant it.

Since, as has been stated in the thread, bluemagic is very busy with real life stuff, it may take a while to get the OP updated, but I don't want the Windows GOG players to be stuck waiting any longer than absolutely necessary because I've taken several days longer than I should have to get the patches worked up.

To that end, until bluemagic gets time to update the OP, here is the manual installer for the Terraria 1.3.3.3/TML 0.8.3.5 diff files (this link will be removed when bluemagic gets time to update the OP): <Link Removed as it is now posted in the OP>

Oh my gosh thank you so much this is a game changer! ... What is the "Mod"- class?

Please be aware this is a new paid host I'm trying out, so if you have any problems downloading, first wait a bit and try again. If problems downloading persist, then >>>> DON"T POST ABOUT IT IN THE THREAD, SEND ME A PM AND I"LL FIGURE IT OUT <<<<.
Ok then :/
